hello im having trouble finding some fitting voltages for my q6600 @ 3.0ghz. i am currently on VCore - 1.35 DRam - 1.85 Ht - 1.4 NB - 1.4 SB - 1.5 it is fine when surfing the web and doing minor activities but when playing sims 3 my computer will just turn off and restart. so i was just wondering what voltages would make it stable? i have tried to raise the vcore to about 1.425 but it still wont go stable. i have also tried putting all voltages to auto except the vcore, but that didnt work either. any ideas of what voltages will make it stable? thanks
have you had a look around ebuyer.com? thats uk based and offers cheap hardware. id have a look through the reviews and see which one sounds the best, thats what i usually do and im never disappointed with it
well my hdtv is in a different room so if it isnt connected to both screens then i dont think that would be the case :/ i'll have another fiddle with it tomorrow. but do i definitely just need one cable? just the HDMI one?
1. i recently bought a HDMI cable and today i plugged it into my HDTV connecting to my GTX 260. i can see the image but it is very fuzzy and clearly not in HD, i tried to fiddle around with the resolution and HD format etc but it didnt really change how fuzzy it was. do i need some form of other cable? or is there a setting that im just not seeing? my HDTV resolution in the manual says it is 1440 X 900. Any help appreciated on this one.
2. i recently overclocked to 3.0 Ghz and occassionally get a blue screen and a "hardware malfunction". i was simply browsing the web when this happened today. my temperatures are fine when browsing the web; they usually hover around CPU - 33 and Motherboard - 41 degrees celsius. any idea why i have this hardware malfunction?
3. this leads me onto my 3rd question. when playing a game, for example far cry 2 or company of heroes my CPU temperature is fine at around 40 but my motherboard temperature shoots up to about 50. then i sometime sget a blue screen and i have to restart. is 50 degrees celcius really that dangerous for the motherboard?
