Will run better than any other similarly priced prebuilt gaming system.
Because this gen hasn't brought anything new to the table. We've all played these games and the copy and paste formula is getting all too familiar.
What did last gen bring to the table after 10 months?
It brought tech demos and games that showed potential on what the console is capable of doing and what it has to offer to developers.
PS 3's launch shooter was Resistance and it looked awful for it's time. PS 4's launch shooter was KZ Shadowfall which looks awesome and it easily demolishes any last gen console graphics.
Ryse is more impressive for 2013 than any 360 launch game was for 2005.
Whom to believe? No hoper on internet forum or game developer?
Gaming PC > PS4.

So you want to compare picking up a gaming system at the local store to building a pc?
Doesn't take a professional to mow a lawn, clean a house or change oil but many people will pay to have it done.
Obviously the kind of person who would buy Minecraft for console is the kind of person who would rather pay others to build their gaming system, hence to PS 4 vs prebuilt price comparison.
Obviously many people prefer not to build their own systems. That's why there are so many pc manufacturers. Would be interesting to see what percentage of pc gamers buy prebuilts and build their own.

Our generation that grew up with gaming are in adulthood now. We have other responsibilities now (I like to think so). Gamers now don't care about story, all their care about is the spectacle. Just look at COD and how shallow it is.
So people who played Quake 2, Duke 3D and Unreal bitd cared about the story?
I say those games because if you were a kid 10 years ago then CoD was already one of the most popular sp shooters.
