I loved almost everything about Kingdoms of Amalur. The story and lore were very interesting and the world was massive, beautiful and fun to explore. The classes were all fun to play as and the fate system that allowed you to cross classes was a great idea even if it wasn't perfect imo. I purchased and enjoyed both DLC's.
The biggest problem with KoA was the serious lack of difficulty. The games combat, in my opinion, was so much fun that I enjoyed grinding and before I even left the first area I was so over powered there was no challenge for the rest of the game.
I would love to see a sequel to KoA. The ground work for a great franchise is already there.
@LatinproX Yes. This is what I have always said. The people who commit violent crimes who happen to own violent video games would commit said crimes with or with out said video games. The people who commit violent crimes already have issues. If a kid shoots up a school I guarantee it has everything to do with the kids home life and mental condition and little if anything to do with video games.
Beyond that though. Say a kid plays a GTA game and then decides it would be a good idea to steal a car and ends up running over people and killing them. It's still not the fault of the video game. The video game did not make the child commit the crime. Further more if the child had a good home life and good parents they would not even consider mimicking in real life what they played in a video game.
Seems to be lots of assumptions and hastily drawn conclusions on this board. So like every other board for a not yet released title. Everyone is assuming that because it's labeled free to play it will be pay to win. Well that is just an assumption at this point. Yes free to play could mean that the game is free and then you make micro transactions. However it could also just a likely mean that you pay 60 bucks for the game and then the online portion of the game is totally free. Meaning that you wont have to pay for Playstation Plus and or a monthly rate.
Also not very much of the game has been shown yet and there is still a lot we don't know. But people who like to hate and state their opinions as facts, otherwise known as Dbags, will do just that.
Will this game totally suck? It's possible. Will it be totally awesome? That's possible as well. Back when I was still able to hope this game was a sequel to Dragons Dogma I cared. Not so much anymore.

But if I had to guess your saying that because the game has some altered reality, which lets be honest is every game ever made, and time travel or different dimensions it can't possibly be, serious over the top, whatever the hell that means. I can tell your using your words in an attempt to express your feelings about this game, but dang you did it so badly.
Anyway I love games with altered realities, time travel and or different dimensions. Looks good to me.

Finally the weapons you have equipped show up on your character! Yes! I have been waiting for this for forever. I have always hated how characters just pull weapons out their butts. It looks like you carry more weapons than you can see and it's just the weapons you have equipped being shown not all the weapons in your inventory but that's okay. And dang those graphics are insane! Especially for an open world game.

There are some fantastic female leads but in comparison to fantastic male leads the number is indeed small. I think that fact is because there are so few female leads in general though. But yes I agree with your statement completely.
This is exactly why I would love to see Rockstar do a female lead. They tend to do characters very well. I think they could make a fantastic strong female lead character based in this universe.

Also I fail to see why you would assume that, all I care about, is weather or not there are female leads in a game. I don't know that just seems like an odd conclusion. I am simply speaking my mind on a subject brought up in a video that hardly means that it is the most important thing to me in reference to video games.
