Bottom line is this. A system is only as good as it's best game. Right now the PS3's best game is not very impressive, no matter which game you think that is. I own every system and hell I used to work at Sony. If your not blind you can see that the PS3 needs a lot of work. Sure I'm glad I have a PS3 and I think that some day it will be a good investment, but as of right now it's a shiny big black paper weight.
1. Final Fantasy 7 (PC & PS1) - is it the best FF game? Maybe. . .maybe not, but it's still going strong and we still want more! 2. Legacy of Kain Defiance (X-Box) - Vampires rock, especially Kain. The voice acting and story in this series is some of the best you'll find in video games, plus the CGI scenes are awesome. 3. Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past (SNES) - The name alone is awesome. I played through this game countless times, I rememeber it better than my childhood. 4. Psychonauts (X-Box) - The best platformer ever, IMO. 5. Resident Evil 4 (GC & PS2) - Because the RE games are just so much fun and so atmospheric, and cheesy. Because you can see such an amazing growth pattern in the series, and zombies rock! John Cusak's character in High Fedelity (freakin great movie & book) puts together mixed tapes of music in an attempt to explain emotion and represent feelings. Well these games represent, some, of the best gaming of my life.
