@DarkImpact2021 I totally agree with you. Personally I don't mind a sexy female lead as long as being sexy isn't all they have going for them. The new tomb raider is a prime example of a great female lead.

I love Dragons Dogma and on my first play through I made a male and mimicked him after myself. However every play through after that I have made a female lead. Some times I'll dress her in some what skimpy clothing but not at the cost of her armor stat. It's sad how many female pawns are running around with nothing but the silver bra and silk lingerie on. If you play Dragons Dogma you know what I mean. If your trying to give your pawn a certain look and the silver bra looks cool, that's great, but too many people just wanna see boobies and have no sense of style.

@Frrekcelt I did. I write a lot. So it's not hard for me to create a character in my mind and get really immersed in a game. I've always been one to go very much against the grain. So I like to create strong female leads. I guess I'm not as limited as a lot of other people.

@devastator1991 I can only hope your joking and if not then you are a large part of what is wrong with this world. Sad, very sad. I wish there were laws that stopped certain people from procreating.

Wow this is a truly disgusting mindset. A sad, pathetic, small minded, tragic, moronic, idiotic and foolish mindset. Now if your an inbred hill person I guess I could understand how you might think that way. However if your an intelligent modern day male you should realize that this mind set is only going to hold you back in life and most likely stop you from having a real meaningful relationship.

Whenever a game allows me to create my own character I often create a female character. Firstly yes the female figure is pleasing to look at, so that is one reason, I wont deny. Also I like the idea of a strong female lead. I often play a female character as a sword wielder rather than as a mage or archer like they would probably be cast. I just think that's more interesting.

There are a lot of factors I look at when I'm interested in a game. The main characters sex is not one of them. I've always thought a female lead would be great for an Assassins Creed title and I was thrilled when female soldiers were added in Gears of War.

As I said right at the beginning of my statement, I have no problem with the score gamespot gave the game. This is largely in part to the fact that I pay no mind to number scores, but beyond that I have not played the game yet, I haven't even played the demo. So I have no idea if the game is great, good or terrible. I have yet to form an, opinion, on the matter. My comment was strictly aimed at the content of the review itself.

You make valid points TenraiShenshi but we must agree to disagree because I do indeed read reviews in an attempt to gleam what few facts I can from said review and that's all I'm interested in. Not the authors opinion of weather or not the game is fun. The reason being I have loved many games with terrible reviews and hated many games with great reviews. I just want to know things like are there a large number of bugs present in the game, are the controls tight, how long is the campaign.

I'm so tired of reviewers saying things like, the music didn't fit the atmosphere. That's the reviewers opinion which I've no interest in. Now if the music's volume was too great and thus made it hard to hear dialogue that would be an important fact worth noting. Weather or not the author liked the music in the game is of no import to me.

But I digress this is a review and sadly that apparently just means opinion. I guess what I'm looking for is a list of facts. Perhaps I will build a sight that lists all the facts about games as they become known. That way people will have a place to go where it's easy to find all the information you want about a game with none of the annoying opinion they didn't ask for and don't want. But that's just me, I tend to go against the grain.

I'll start off by saying I have no problem with an 8.0 score. I like the God of War games, I even have most of them in my collection, but it's far from my favorite franchise. Games I'm really interested in I wont read reviews for, but games I'm mildly interested in I sometimes will.

As usual there is far far too much opinion in this review, which is why I usually don't read them. When I used to read reviews on a regular basis I was looking for facts. Facts about the gameplay, the frame rate, the control scheme, audio. Point being most reviewers get so caught up in their own opinions little room is left for the information I want.

Also I hate this idea that every game that comes out, sequels or prequels especially, has to be new and fresh or have some brand spanking new mechanic that makes it so much better than it's predecessor. There are countless games that I have played that I would love sequels to and I'd be happy if the game was largely unchanged just so long as I'm getting more content. This review states that although not much new is added, to the single player campaign, it's still a lot of fun. In my opinion that's all that matters.

Anyway I'll probably just rent this from Redbox and beat it in a day or two with out touching the multiplayer.

@JBStone1981 @DannyC_pt So by raising the bar and making a game that is better in every way, is not living up to the legacy? I own every AC game and I've beaten them all, at the very least, 3 times each. Never touched the multiplayer. AC3 not only lived up to the legacy but set a new standard.

@Azure_Nova @DannyC_pt Your exactly the kind of person DannyC_pt is talking about. Wow. I'm assuming your talking about the last mission? The poorly designed chase scene. Yes it was pretty bad, but the rest of the game was freakin amazing.

If your talking about how the game ended story wise then that's just your opinion and no one cares.
