All sings are showing that PS3 will have a price drop this holidays season with a slimmer cheaper model and backwards compatability for all the PS2 greatness. Just stay tuned you guys.
"5.1" headphones or headphone adapters are gimmicks.....the .1 in 5.1 is the sub-woofer you can't audibly hear it and there is no sub-woofer in a set of headphones, and the headphones still only have two speakers and you only have 2 ears, you could stick 100 channels through them you would still be hearing out of two speakers the same as if it was being sent through 2 channels.....it's utterly useless.

Have you even read my post at all? This has NOTHING to do with 5.1 headsets as they are utterly garbage and I use a pure stereo headphone myself. This is a 5.1 emulator that supposedly WORKS. That's about it. I said '5.1 headphones and HEADPHONE ADAPTERS' are gimmicks what you showed was a 'headphone adapter' and is a gimmick. Gimmick or not, that's VERY subjective. From my own experience with Dolby Headphone demonstrations it works wonders.

When you look at 400$ compared to 200$ of course 200$ seems more attractive. The truth is...that's a complete ignorant statement to say the least. PS3 now comes with 2 games which is a gain of 80$ (at least according to Amazon). PS3 has rechargeable lithium controllers - another 20$ on the Arcade PS3 has wifi built in - 360 adapter costs 100$ PS3 has an HDD built in with the possibility of an upgrade - 360's hdds range from 40$ to 140$ depends on the capacity PS3 has a bluray drive - the cheapest one available is 200$ as a standalone PS3's online is absolutely free whileas 360 annual fees start from 50$ If you take these numbers into consideration you'll realize that PS3 is actually a whole lot cheaper. But ignorance is a bliss and people have the tendency in looking strictly at price tags.
