Also you STILL NEED GTAIV to play./ the only reason cows don't want it to count is they are in DC and it is a 360 exclusive, it counts and scored well, deal widit Kinda of like Lems DCing the Show right?

[QUOTE="2beers_in_hand"]I heard rockstar was suppose to be releasing some new info n' stuff on RDR soon, but i still haven't heard anything. : [ I hope they get Ennio to score some of the music... *off topic* They released a few screens today!!! They look pretty good God I hope RDR delivers Revolver was an excellent game that flew under a lot of peoples radars. *on topic* Question SWers??? Besides a good story did BoGT get its high marks due to having features and game play elements GTAIV should have had all along???It never ends on goodold SW. While 9.5 is an excellent score I have my reservations about it, is GS rating it on how well is stacks up to LatD and GTAIV? Or are they reviewing it based on the standards of a full retail game? I still believe DLC or expansion packs shouldn't count when it comes to exclusives or the full games list, but they should count some other way. Anyways I'm willing to bet Sony doesn't make the same mistake twice when it comes to DLC in the future. Congrats lems on some awesome GTA content. Can we start to talk about RDR now??? :P

[QUOTE="def_mode"]They've always been counted by PC gamers, why should it change now? Because it's not a full game. If anything the DLC debate should stay within the confinesof Livevs PSN argument.DLC's or expansion packs should not count towards the list of AAA games.

DLC shouldn't count as a full retail game sorry. But both side will do anything to try and 1up each other, so they don't feel owned.
To all those outraged by the score,I think 8.5 is a good score for it. In order for a R&C game to get an AAAE score again they need to bring back Multiplayer, a previous feature that has been missing this entire generation. Why should it get anything higher then an 8.5 for missing something a lot of people have beenasking for. Simply put without multi its only half of what it can be.
I enjoyed both of games for different reasons. For any one who hasn't played them what are you waiting for???
See this is the problem with gamers today. To everyone saying"man as soon as 11/10 drops its over", my question is why??? What people can't play more then one online game at the same time??? It seems to me most gamers suffer from ADD, because as soon as the newest game comes out every other game is forgotten even if the multiplayer is good. I can't wait for DLC for U2 bring it on!!! U2 will be in heavy rotation even after MW2 drops at least in my PS3.
Yeah tommorow im gonna buy brutal legend! and Uncharted 2
I can buy 2 games. If this isnt a good move tell me what is.
Well I own both those games and enjoy them. The thing about BL is that boss fights playout as RTS battles, and some of the missions get kinda boring. But if you enjoy a good story and love metal its still a good buy.Of course it's not nit-picky. Look at what they depicted in those teaser art pics. If that doesn't imply amazing urban combat, where you witness staples of civilization being laid to waste as you fight to keep yourself and fleeing civilians alive, I don't know what does. What they did not include had no reason to not be present. It's like cutting away whipped cream from strawberry shortcake.Verge_6
Levels, and setpieces in games sometimes have to be scrapped for purposes of narrative, or really any number of reasons, and when that happens it's probably to make the game more consistent, not out of laziness on the part of the developers. If you've ever played God of War, look at the Lost Levels bonus movie, they describe tons of cool scenarios, that I would have loved to see in the game, but they got rid of them, and seemingly did so for the better of the game. Scrapped scenarios are something to think about perhaps, but not to criticize, because the truth is we'll never know how (and how well) they would've fit into the game.
As said, the lack of such levels has hurt the game in the eyes of many people who played it, and Insomniac even acknowledges this. Before R2 was launched, they did nothing to try and stop advertisements like the one pictured that gave everyone who saw them impressions of what was never to be in the game. A game like R2 NEEDS stuff like that, and to simply push them aside for a "2 years later" deus ex machina is nothing short of a ****block. Your spot on Verge. Also no game should have you flesh out the story by collecting intel, or hearing your squadmates chatter.
