[QUOTE="7suarez7"][QUOTE="tormentos"] Oh please maybe you don't have a 360 or a 3DS,3DS games don't look like 360 games with 3D on or off, they look a little better than PSP games, which 6 years after the PSP arrived is not a big thing, the NGP is closer to next gen console than the 3DS will ever be,and doesn't look like 360 games.ArchoNils2

Are you **** me? The PSP is basically a PS1.5, I sold my PSP the very next day after I got my 3DS. You need to buy the 3DS for yourself and turn the 3D on, it looks phenominal. It really looks HD. I have a 360 and only about 70% of my games look better than Rayman 3D.

Troll, fanboy, fakeboy or blind? The 3DS looks barely better than the PSP and the PSP is almost on par with the PS2 oO

PS2 games

PSP game:

Rayman port (one of the worst looking 3DS games oO):

DOAD looks much better:

Lol, weak screenshot from the Rayman game. Also, the 3D basically doubles it's resolution which you cannot see unless you have it in your hands and I assume you don't have one otherwise you wouldn't be comparing the PSP to the 3DS. The 3DS is more powerful than the Wii. 3DS > Wii >> Xbox >= Gamecube >>>>> PS2 >>> PSP>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DS

Obviously Gears won't win because there are far too many casuals and children who play cod. If Gears sells half of what MW3 sells on 360 then it would have done well.

No, Sony should make the graphics look as absolutely nice as they possibly can. I love the DS and am warming up to the 3DS, but Nintendo was clearly a generation behind Sony graphically. In a way the 3DS is just Nintendo catching up to where PSP already was. So it makes sense that NGP would be at least one generation/step ahead of the 3DS. We'll probably have to wait for E3 for price, but it shouldn't be much more than a 3DS. My biggest concern would be the battery life.

The 3DS is streets ahead of the PSP. I can't go back to playing a single game on my PSP because of it, it looks horrid. The 3DS looks MUCH better when it's in your hands. When the 3D is on games look on par with 360 (although the smaller screen helps).

I believe the NGP will outsell the 3DS simply because most people are going to see the 3DS as the DS with 3D and nothing more... unless they actually come read up abou it..

besides.. its selling point is 3d... ((not a good selling point......... also I don't care about your n64 remakes))

Infinite_Access
Lol, no chance. I can almost guarantee that everyone that owns a DS will buy a 3DS.

The PSP seemed about 2/3 between the PS1 and PS2. The NGP seems about 2/3 between the PS2 and the PS3. Honestly, the graphics from the 3DS (a little better than PS2 IMO) seem about right. The NGP's look incredible atm, but its a natural step forward from the previous PSP. I'm not disappointed by what either system is capable of, I'm disappointed the 3DS has 1 analogue stick and is $250. It should be much less.

The 3DS is miles ahead of the PS2 lmao. It's more powerful than the Wii.

[QUOTE="7suarez7"]Sounds good. Looks like my 350-400 British pounds prediction will be right after all.APiranhaAteMyVa

I think it will bomb if that price. The PS3 launched at 425 and sold like crap, until it dropped about £200 after being out a year. The 3DS has dropped from 225 to 149 in the UK. It seems people have limits as to what they are willing to pay. I think they won't go above £250.

If these rumours are true it will be at LEAST £350. And it's not like Nintendo hasn't done this in the past, Nintendo 64 launched at £300. Also, the 3DS isn't £150, it's £180 and it never launched at £250 it was £200.

The same reason someone might buy a PS2 now.

Technoweirdo
Tbh people buy PS2's for a DVD player and the fact that the games are SO cheap. The Wii offers more however (GCN playback, motion controls, online, Nintendo games etc) and is the much more powerful system. If PS2 had Zelda though then we'd be talking.

3D is a gimmick and a joke. Media companies are just hellbent on jamming it down your throat.

khoofia_pika
THIS I agree with. I'll still say the 3DS will be a very successful system, and will have a pretty good library, but 3D, I think, is just a gimmick that won't really change the way we play games.

But the 3D basically doubles the resolution on 3DS and it makes games look HD. I have Rayman 3D and it looks on par with some 360 games.
