i'm not sure what Microsoft did to ruin this gen?
realistically what happened is everybody super-hyped this gen into something it never could've been, i blame marketing and hyped up E3's running up to this gen
that and last gen IP's haven't lived up to the hype as often... which is GOOD, new IP's are never a bad thing
but overall there's been a lot of good ideas that make last gen feel antiquated
i have a 60gb PS3 and a new 360 Slim
i like them both, but i think the new 360 slim is cooler looking than the old chunky ps3 (which compared to the new 360 looks huge)

so is the game worth $60 to a casual rts player?
kozzy1234
From what I hear yes!
The campaign and editor are well worth it even if you dont play online versus mode much if ever!
There will be ALOT of cool user made missions/mods/campaigns aswell down the road for singleplayer fans to!
yeah i used to play Warcraft 3 casually back in the day and the user made stuff was pretty cool
you do realize the only reason there aren't more MMO's on the 360 isn't because of hardware
it's because nobody wants to pay a monthly fee on top of the monthly fee they're already paying

It was also only a demo compared to a full GT game, not other racing games.
chaplainDMK
it was pretty much a demo compared to any racing game
Witch racing game apart from GT and Forza have 70+ licensed cars with evrey inch detailed to the max? It was like Need for Speed: Shift with only 6 tracks for 40$.quantity of cars doesn't mean much when you're still buying an unfinished product
buggy physics, glitches, bad race programming (since the AI is almost nonexistent), an overall lack of content (whole game can be beaten in a day), lack of features, etc.
sorry but when i bought GT5p i felt duped, should've bought Burnout Paradise back in 2008
