keep the one you have brother. there is no point on buying another one if yours still works. i have a phat and all i've done is upgrade the hard drive. anyone that would advise you otherwise isn't doing you a favor.

i'm having a hard time figuring out how one console's connection works and another console's connections doesn't work. have you tried your ps3's connection in someone's dorm where it "works?" i'm sure it's not a conspiracy against sony at your college....

like most people i'm going to buy this game either way. to be honest, loading times don't bother me that much. guess im just patient.....
