china is a traditional country. that hatred is passed down from generation to generation. they know the history of those 2 countries and there is absolutely no way a japanese product will succeed there. A little history, Japan invaded China during WWII. Not going too deep into this, but generally, most older adults strongly hate Japenese. I'm not too sure about the new generation of kids today, but i'm sure its knowledge that has been passed on to their kids. In comparison, lots Chinese idiolize America.
