Ok, another official request for Cows: will you please stop turning the argument in this thread toward ME, and start addressing the issue in the original post? I see WAY too much attention being put on me, for no good reason. I have seen some try to counter my argument, saying that 360 fans have said the same thing about the Wii and core 360- that's good stuff, I have never heard that before, but I think that it could have happened here before- keep up with arguments like this. Leave me out of this, and think of the people that some (not all) Cows put down for not being able to afford a stupid gaming console. Ridiculous.

ever since i stepped into the SW forums, i have never EVER heard anyone from people that owned a PS3 that their too fortunate and defended themselves from anyone who rants about the PS3's $600 price and looks down on people who couldn't afford it. Most people that bought a PS3 have jobs and saved or their older siblings bought it for them, or got it as a present. I have never heard any PS3 owners claimed that their rich and bought a PS3 in just a blink. So far, you're the first one thati've heard this statement from and try to make it public and generalize it. And why is it that you blame PS3 owners for these actions and not the PC owners who has a system that costs twice or three times the price?? I dont get you man.., and now you're saying that cows are stupid for spending a chunk of $$ on a stupid console...?? you expect me to agree with that?

PS3 is a good system [period] It's got games, plays good movies, storages files, internet,helps find solutions for cancers, etc...

if you think that PS3 owners are looking down on others because of it's price tag and blame it to people on why they can't afford it, then you might as well tell it to the hermits who buys PCs and laptops that are twice the price.

so far i've been only using 2 USB ports. i only use it to charge one for mycontroller and one for my wireless devices.

for the past since i've bought my PS3, the other two USB ports are a waste.

basically, you just need two.

i dont really see any innovative games for the 360. so far most of its games that are AAA are FPS or strategy shooter etc..

UT3 > any GeOW games

Haze > any Halo games

and that's not just what the PS3 has.as far as being more than a month here on SW, lems have nothing to top against PS3's HOME, Folding Home, and its free online play. all they did was run around SW and do dc.

why are you people always comparing the 360's 2007 to the PS3's 2008.

September: HS

October: Eye of Judgement,Folklore, GT5 Prologue

November: UT3, Haze, R&C, Uncharted

December: Socom Confr., Time Crisis

Having terrible sales near the beginning of its life isn't a good sign. And I don't want to hear the ps2 was the same way bullcrap because ps2 had no competition for the entire year, which gave it time to build a big user base. Ps3 launch is actually a lot like how the xbox and gcn came into the war. Whats sad about the ps3 is, that it comes out a year after the 360 and does nothing different than a system that is one year old. Sure on paper its more powerful but if devs can't figure how to use it nor take the time to do it, then its useless.

I forsee the ps3 doing ok in japan, but poor everywhere else. Its the Sega Saturn of this generation whether the cows want to admit that or not. It will only receive ports from the 360 and exclusive games that are for the ps3 more than likely will find its way to the 360 in time. Ps3 is the result of the ghost of Sega hunting Sony.

wasn't 360 released on it's own for a year and so far it only sold 8.9 mil??

i could understand the PS3 sold only 4.8 mil in 10 months cuz of the competition but still, 4.8 mil in just 10 months with 360 and Wii at the same sale time is pretty impressive.

the 360 being passed by the Wii which has only been out less than a year is just terrible....

the PS3 might not win this console war but i'm sure heck the 360 won't..

the Wii might win this with a little higher than the PS3 and as for the 360, after your Halo 3, you're gone..
