@andrew_ribbons @A_Rabid_Dog Ok, so you are willing to overlook a limited hard drive that you MUST install every game on, a region locked system (better watch out if you move or travel), A constant internet connection even for single player games, no borrowing a friend's game, mandatory camera in your living room that will always be connected, forced cloud-based gaming, Online multiplayer service fees, no backwards compatibility, free-to-play games featuring tons of microtransactions, no indie-developer support, and added fees for watching movies with more than X amount of people? You are ok with all of that shit because they dangled a couple of shiny games in front of you?
Yes, you are a blight on society if you say yes because it only promotes all of these concepts as good ideas.
@racerxgundam My BIGGEST concern is that they applied for a patent to recognize how many people are in a room and adjust their current running services accordingly. They SAY that they won't use it, but they now have the right to implement that at any given time. This would lead to only being able to have 3 people watch a netflix movie, and if the kinect senses a fourth, it will charge an additional fee. This is only one application of this patent. The fact that this exists at all is a scary thought that severely limits the growth of the entertainment industry.
@andrew_ribbons @A_Rabid_Dog The best part of this is that I own a 360, PC (prefer that platform more than anything, but do like consoles), 3DS and SKIPPED the PS3. I have been loyal to the 360 for a while, but anyone with common sense would forgo their loyalty if that company is just going to screw you over at any given chance.
@Banhammered1 @A_Rabid_Dog I've seen it happening for a whle now. They are kind of obvious when they use proper grammar, Promote the **** out of Xbone'd, and have a random username.
