@Spritekzk Anyone who does is a complete idiot. It only funds their campaign of microtransactions (they are partnered with EA basically, and they are all about microtrans), additional fees, and fine print that no one wants. Buying the console would only tell them that it's ok to do that so long as they dangle shiny games in front of us that they didn't even make.
Funny how Sony managed to reveal their console, reveal their games, and reveal the console functions (entertainment, etc...) ALL in ONE press conference, and still come away with the gold medal of E3.
Who the **** runs M$ that they fucked up so badly? I skipped the PS3 this gen, but will be skipping the XBone'd next gen.
@quiksilver38 No, it's the parent's checkbooks. That's the target audience. The extra entertainment features are used to draw in the parents and entice them to buy the console, then tack on extra fees when the kids want to play the games.
@WillyWynn @WitIsWisdom Also, DRM is NOT essential to games on a disc. Discs hold files, that's it. They don't have to be protected files to be written to a disk. So you are both wrong, AND ignorant of comprehension.
@theR34p3R Microsoft has been hacked before, and so have those "hundreds of camera's" watching you outside. Why should we put a hackable camera in our living room that is REQUIRED to be online, only making it simple to hack and turn on?
