[QUOTE="rjdofu"] hnnnggg is the sound you make when you have heart attack. j/k, on internet it's used when you see something cute/adorable.rjdofu

How did hnggg come from cute and adorable? That sound effect doesn't even make sense.

No, it doesn't come from them, it's the reaction to them; like when you see something so cute you feel like having a heart attack.

Example? Because the only reaction of know of is "awwww"

I want to start a video game collection starting with the NES games. I can't find a good list online. I want a list that is 100% accurate, contains all the different cartridges (not just the games), and only for North American releases. Anyone have a list like this? I can't really name a list of my own with out having something to go off of.What I mean by cartridges instead of games are for example. The legend of zelda was in gold and grey. This is 1 game but 2 cartridges. Also combo cartridges like Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt or Super Mario Bros/Tetris/etc. Its hard for me to strt collecting unless I have a checklist. My goal is to get every NES cartridge that was in North America. I know this is very unrealistic and I understand I will probably never complete it but let me have my dreams haha. Anyways anyone have a list like this? Thanks.spau0588

The issues is that many lists have alternate names from other countries on NA lists.

But the BIGGEST issue is that there are some areas of NA, that have different names for the same game(s), even if some games are knwon by the origiunal name which is more popular.

So what you would need to do is look up many sites and do research on which game names are what, which would be a giant paine in the behind.:(

Probably the Wii. The fact almost every thread on here is 360 vs. Ps3, means both those are still relevant.

[QUOTE="turtlethetaffer"]

[QUOTE="GSJones1994"] How is OoT overrated. Just because a game gets too much undeserved attention dosen't make it overrated. It may get too much attention, but at least OoT is the masterpiece that people say it is. And telling the truth about a Zelda game is every bit better than lying about a Zelda game.GSJones1994

It's overrated in the sense that people act like nothing has touched it, and, at least in my opinion, there are a few games that have surpassed it.

Still, that's not a good enough excuse to call it overrated. I do think OoT has been surpassed before it was even released, if you know what I mean. I think that Super Metroid is better than OoT.

It's overrated because like blabon or whatever his name above a few posts said, the game had tons of crap that was unacceptable in 1998 and somehow everyone ignored it and called it a masterpiece.

Of course, it was not among the top 10 worst games in 1998 mind you, so it wasn't terrible. But it was overrated.

Here's the thing, if there was an opening they would have done it before 2011 this gen if anything, it's way to late now when you look at it.

At this point, Sega nor Sammy which they are together, have the combined income to take a console launch just in certain areas of asia that are limited, just the UK in europe, and NA, they would already be on suicide watch if the first month backfired.

They have tons of Ips, and machines and toys and such under both their names, so you may say that they could get together with a partner like EA or something to launch the console, however, they would be wasting tons of money and not getting back all profit that should belong to them as well as licensing agreements and other contracts that they are contracting has COMPLETE control of. If it backfired, that company would jump ship and Sega would suffer because with Segas current economic situatioon combined with Sammies, no company is going to take a full on risk with them, so Sega would be left alone with all the debt and all the unsold stock and Sega would be in a mes.s.

Then there may be some of you that say that they could  do what Hudon did with Nec where a company, say for example. Squarenix, could make a console or another company, and Sega could provide the software if they share profits and are allowed to slap Segas name on it. Well once again, Sega is going into contract with Square in this example, for software on the console under their name, so yes, Square will share profit with the console, but if it fails, Square could cut out at any time and leave all the unsold consoles, all the debt, all the software backsales, and etc. only on Sega, and being able to get rid of their small part.

The only way Sega's name will be on a console is if someone ELSE offers to make games for it or to distribute it for Sega at a low cost or free and now one will do that. Or the other unliekly option is if someone like namco-bandai decided to do a fusion with Sega-Sammy, and be one company.
