[QUOTE="Adzey"]Ps3 definately, although I will be keeping an eye on achievements on the 360 version encase there aren't Trophies just because I wanna see and do everything and they make it a bit easierDrAwesomeMD

Trophies are mandatory my friend.

Wha? I thought games like MGS4 and Valkyria Chronicles didn't have them.

But anyway, I'll be getting it on PS3.

Ah so they're mandatory...fair enough

I pronounce Tidus Tee-dus because of the interviews on FFX Experience DVD, Feary-on is right, I'm pretty sure it's Zi-dayn and Seh-cil. Although Cecil and Zidane are generally pronounced differently anyway.

Also is it Choke-obo or Chock-obo?

[QUOTE="Adzey"]I disagree, on my side, even though the story wasn't great the game wasn't made too easy with the gambits, you didn't need to use them at all. The battle system is the regular ATB but with a different style and with more manuverability. I do agree the customisation is amazing, and that the world itself is really huge and cool, the ending I've forgotten completely. All in all 12 is a brilliant game, but not an engaging story.Ebi_Furya

I agree with you Adzey. I had a lot of fun playing XII but the arrangement of the content didn't allow for the story to be as strong as it could have been. It seemed like every time I made it to a new city I was distracted by all the new side quests and marks available that by the time I took care of them and got back to the story line, I had forgotten what was going on and had to strain to remember. And then, by the time I had taken care of all the quests and marks, I was well over level 80 with all my characters and the last area and boss were way too easy.

Personally, knowing all the quests available, I would have liked to have seen the end level have enemies that leveled up close to your characters' mean level. It would have provided a greater challenge and made the ending feel much more like a big accomplishment as opposed to the cake walk it was.

Here's to hoping they make the story of XIII stronger, but still have as much, if not more, content as XII AFTER beating the game...

I suppose it's what you cherish more in a game or an RPG most of all, we have the choice this gen with The Last Remnant taking a hugely indepth battle system, massive world and almost unlimted customisation or Lost Odyssey taking a rather linear route with traditional battle mechanics and a story that is engaging so that you don't necessarily want to explore because you need to know what happens next.

I don't believe you can have both, I finished Final Fantasy X with a sense of urgency because I was so attacted to the story and the characters before playing through everything else, XII I finished while exploring as much and as far as I can because I wasn't needing to find out what happened next, I was doing everything that was in my best interest and not the characters best interest.

the whole game was disappointing, the gambit system made the game way to easy, even the optional bosses became easy once you had every move...though i dont agree tht irrelevant bosses take away anything from the fun of a game, look at anything on the PSX and b4, they made the game unpredictable and enjoyable...also i really liked the fact that every character ws completely customizable, the battle system was really easy to use and very little hassle(dont get me wrong, i prefer the battle system of the standard ATB), and i liked the fact tht it ws explorer friendly than previous FF's which are quite linear in the way they guided you from town to town, the ending was awfull tho, especially since you cud beat all the final bosses, finnishing the battle with full health, in fact, due to my gambit system i started the vayne battles with 2 of my party in the yellow...overall, id give it 8/10...A_Fading_Scream

I think that's a good idea, I would like something from 12 tbh. Even though 13 isn't composed by Uematsu, I'd love to hear them do Lightning's theme, that piece is amazing. Maybe some Crystal Chronicles would be cool too.

FF1 and 2 - the PSP version is undeniably the best version.

FF3 - well, since the original version is in the NES, while the other version is in the DS and in 3D. The NES version is only released in Japan.

FF4 - If you want 3D, get DS version. Otherwise, get the GBA version for added content, unless you prefer to see some FMVs... then get the PS1 version.

FF5 - Get the GBA version for added content, unless you want to see some FMVs... then get the PS1 version.

FF6 - same.

FF7 - wait for the PS3 version. j/k! Get the PC version for one with fixed translation, but you have to download several patches if you are using Windows XP and up.

FF8 - I think you should get the PC version so you can play Chocobo World (although it is not a big loss if you will not play it) without the need for Pocketstation.

FF9 - oh, i forgot. you're only talking about FFs released in GBA. that's Ff1-6 only less 3.

Well as I don't have a PSP, should I get I & II for the GBA, or PS?

I think for FF1-6 it depends, the PS versions have one FMV sequence for it's titles and the GBA ones have extra dungeons and you can play them on the move, so, take your pick from the advantages these provide :)
