For me I'd have to say Alive 2007 and some more material from Eric Prydz. Also hoping for some kind of Electronica track pack in the future.

Also, do you think one console version will be favored over the others? (Ala GTAIV DLC-Exclusives)

From what I remember reading the interview with one of the programmers on Wikipedia the game's death was due to tensions between development teams and it had nothing to do with the Saturn's complicated architecture. Really sad.

I got a Sega Saturn as a present from my uncle back in 1995, it was my introduction into the 32-bit era. The console was all the hype back then and the Playstation was being made fun of as the new kid in town everyone bullied. The games I got with the console were Virtua Fighter (packed-in), Daytona USA, Myst, Clockwork Knight and Sega Worldwide Soccer.

Until the first quarter of 1998 I stuck with my Saturn exclusively while ignoring even the games the other consoles of the era had to offer. The highlights (games) for me on it were Myst, Daytona USA, Virtua Fighter, Die Hard Arcade, X-Men Children of The Atom, Street Fighter Alpha, Virtua Cop 2, Worldwide Soccer '98, Sonic 3D Blast and last but not least my favorite outta all of them Megaman X4.

I still remember that night during Q1 1998 going into my usual gaming store and the clerk telling us (me and my brother) that the Saturn was getting its plug pulled due to the soon arrival of the Dreamcast and the only new release he had on the shelf was Burning Rangers. I remember leaving the store sorta shocked with sadness, I did not see it coming. Ended up buying an N64 a week later and then a PSX a year or so after that.

That's my story with this legend of a console, what's yours?

Has nintendo let you down?

mariokart97

Not really no. They just had a change of interests and I wasn't into what they do much anymore.

Now if there was a gaming company that really let me down I'd say it would be Sega

LocoRoco is an embarassing game.

Granpire

I still remember the day a friend of mine showed me the demo of the first game years ago, I laughed hard for 10 minutes, that singing!

Its Ar Tonelico 2 for the PS2. Just look at the cover art. BTW you have to "dive" into girls in the actual gameplay. Try hiding that from your family lol.

Vrygar777

That's how I felt with Tales of Symphonia II. I mean yeah it was fun and all (I rarely get addicted to an RPG) but the story was just UGH! I hoped no family member would enter the room while a conversation was going on, especially with the two love interests. Trust me it doesn't get any cheesier than that. Shaking my head and laughing at how ridicolous the dialouge was getting.

It's not the actors' fault though, the delivery is horrid but the story can't be helped. If it's a JRPG the chance it'll get lost in translation is 90%. I can imagine those lines being spoken in Japanese, a simple cheesy "I need a hug and a kiss" by the female love interest would be spoken in Japanese as if it's a matter of life and death. Just watch any Japanese highschool drama/anime, the male love interest talks to himself about confessing to a girl as if he's about to operate on a patient with life or death results. Alot of people don't get that it really can't be helped because that's how serious those kinda matters are in Japanese culture. Unless the plot is Americanized (ala Lunar) there's bound to be some cheese in it.

The game I like the most on it is King's Valley 2.

KAF216

The ending was just so unique back then. I mean you had to press the button in order to open the pyramid's doors and get out, the hand's animation would make anyone feel the accomplishment back then. Its OST was also great.

I wish they would do a HD remake on the PSN/Live Arcade/WiiWareMegaman5364

Well Sega is working on a brand-new 2D HD Sonic game built "from the ground up" so my guess is that it'll be a mix of what made the 2D games so epic. I bet It'll be regarded as the best 2D Sonic game once it's released.
