Awesome $400m in 18 days, I reckon it will reach $500m but it will take a little while for it to get there. Bom,s forums have a few good threads explaining how TDK is pretty much locked for at least $500m, time will tell.

Yay TDk looks to be #1 three weeks in a row :)..wonder if it can go four? Something like $396m in 17 days..amazing. It looks like $500m is pretty much a certaintiy now..number two spot on the all time chart :). I think Titanic is about of reach, but who knows.

Already the highest grosser in Aust with like 31m already, getiing like in the 30 range drops each week. I reckon it will reach at least 40m in Australia which would put it in the top 10 all time Australian movie grosses. I think Titanic made like 60m which is the record. Anything above $40m would be awesome though..most blockbusters only do around the mid 20's at best, occasionally you'll get one that will reach the low 30's.

My friends and I were all ready to see TDK at Imax on Saturday, when one of my friends went to buy a ticket it was sold out :(.

So we've had to post pone it to next Sat...at least I have something to look fowards to

I thought it was terrific, but if people think it was overated than thats up to them. No movie can please everybody. Its kind of wierd to say.."if it wasn't for Heath Ledger this movie would have been average"..well yeah if you got rid of him you would be getting rid of a great performance and the main villian of the movie. Thats like saying if not for Darth Vader ESB would have been average..no duh.

TDK could make 400m in as quick as 16-17 days if all goes to plan. 400m in 16-17 days with heaps of time and business still behind it.

In Australia TDK only dropped 35% in its second weekend :), for some reason the papers no longer display total gross or number of weeks. Does anyone know where you can find a descent Australian box office chart? Its annoying me that I can't find one.

Aww my plans to see TDk a third time, in imax, is in doubt at the moment :(....my friends might be busy and I don't really want to see it by myself.

I personally don't think it will happen, but I guess the third week drop will be a very good indication. If its another 50% drop than it will make over 400m ( Still awesome). If its terrific wom takes hold and it only drops mid 30 etc, than it has may just have a chance, but realisticly it will probably still fall short by 50m or so. Im just hoping it becomes number two on the all time us domestic list, that would be awesome, even top 5 which is pretty much locked in now is awesome. A lot of people over at BOM are saying TDK will break the 500m mark, if this happens TDK will be only the second movie to achieve such a feat ( not adjusted for inflation). Cinema has changed a heck of a lot since Titanic reached 600m, way competition, rise in DVD popularity etc..

Everyone who wants to see TDK sink the boat, make sure you do your bit and see it as many times as your bank account will allow :P. If all goes to plan im gonna be seeing TDK at Imax this Saturday. My friend saw it in Imax last Saturday and he said it was awesome. On a side note does anyone know a good site for Australian Box office?

Hopefully TDK make sHollywood realise that movies don't have to bland and flashly to attract the masses.

The Dark Knight has now had the biggest 2nd weekend ever :) ( Shrek 2 beats if adjusted for inflation)

For those of you who didn't like this movie thats fine, none said you had to like it. Its just annoying how the same people than have to proceed to bash other people who did enjoy the movie...this movie is 95% Fresh on the RT meter, nearly everyone of spoken to has loved it, its average rating on Yahoo movies is A-, etc. The movie has recieved a huge amount of praise all of which has been justified, but of course you get the people who say it wouldn't have gotten as much praise if Heath Ledger was still alive, which to me is bull crap.

For those who don't like this movie, please find something better to do than bashing those who did. For the rest of us we can talk about an awesome movie.

Cool TDK's RT meter has reached 95% :)..hopefully it continues to climb, but by now most people have reviewed it.

Wow TDK is now the fastest movie to reach 200m in 5 days..the next fastest was POTC: DMC in 5 days..awesome.

Its also second on the all time Tuesdays with 20.8m, awesome considering that the movie that beat it, Transformers, opened on a Tuesday.

LEts consider this- TDk makes 18m Wednesday, 20m Thursday, than has a 80-90m second weekend..thats roughly 328-338m in 10-11 days. 328m-338m in 10-11 days would be very good in itself but thats only after 11 days, leaving it with 62-72m to go to 400m.

I dare say TDk will end up with at least 450m, only really bad legs could stop it, but I doubt will see that.
