This was the best movie i have ever seen.

For some reason even though i saw it on IMAX on saturday, i didn't feel as if i've seen the whole movie. Maybe it was just too much at once, but i feel the need to go see it again, maybe pay a little more attention to all of the details in it. Did anybody else feel the need to see it again as if they only saw part of it the first time? I know my wording is a little confusing, but did anyone feel the same way?

Nills

I kindd of felt the same way a little, there wassome dialogue I couldn't make sense and a few things I didn't quite understand, I still thought it was aweosme btw. When I saw it again it was even better, and I understood everything..still a little confused as to why commisioner Gordon was saying sorry to two-face but thats all. I paln to see tdk at least once more hopefully at imax this time :)

I saw TDK again last night, even better the second time around. This movie is so awesome...I have to keep telling myself its only a movie otherwise I become to obsessive. I saw it with a group of my friends, some of which aren't really into Batman. We all agreed that it was an awesome movie :). The cinema was packed, it was a really good atmosphere, people were laughing at the jokes, gasping etc. A lot of people laughed at the magic trick, my friends went nuts. There were other people that I knew in the cinema, ever get that feeling of knowing that a movie is awesome and you want everyone you know to see it...it was kinda like that, if that makes sense..lol. I understood the movie more, I missed a few things firts time around. The first time around my only negative with the film was that Batman wasn't in it enough but watching it for a second time, I didn't think this at all, I realised that this still is very much his movie. Gordon's speech was he perfect way to end this movie. Every scene that the Joker appeared you could just tell the audience was in awe. Only annoying this was the two people next to me were talking and making out..oh well lol. I plan to see it at least once more...this is more than a movie this is an event. Like Star Wars was when it first came out. Seriously I could talk about TDk all day long but I won;t lol :P.

On a side note, TDK has just smashed another record for opening 4 days....182.9.m...compared to SM3..161.4m. This is huge, remember that SM3 opened on like memorial weekend or something.

TDK grossed like 24m on Monday...not a record but in like the top five all time...the movies that beat it ( not by much), had a holiday Monday. I reckon TDK will be in the 250m-300m range by the end of this week. That is awesome. I see this movie easily getting to 400m-450m. :)

Forgot to mention earlier..average grade for TDk at yahoo movies is A- for critics and A for users. 24,000 reviews counted.

92% over at RT for community, I expect that to continue to climb.

Some articles about TDK up at Yahoo;

One about people selling Imax tickets for $60.00 bucks on ebayhttp://movies.yahoo.com/mv/news/va/20080721/121666569200.html

One about Tdk not being for kids http://kids.yahoo.com/parents/blog/1001/141--Is+'The+Dark+Knight'+for+Kids? lol

And just an article about TDK record opening..the actuals went up to roughly 158m...the estimates were 155m..so TDk made even more money...

Highest weekend gross ever, awesome :)..I hope it can continue its momentum and make like 400m domestic (U.S.A)

Its made like 13.5m over 5 days in Australia, thats huge for a movie over here..not a record but still huge.

It seems TDk will finish at 94% on the RT meter which is awesome :)..of course 100% would have been better :P..but 94% puts it in classic, masterpiece territory. Im seeing it again tommorow, and I can't wait. I haven't seen a movie twice in the cinema ever, and I plan on seeing this at least three times :).

In the previews before TDK in the cinema where I come from (Geelong, Australia)..they had a preview for the dark whopper, based on batman. Everyone was talking, but when TDK clips come on with the burger preiew the cinema went silent

It was funny too.,it was like..can you handle the dark whopper?

The burn that makes Harvey into Two face is perhaps a little bit unrealistic, but its probably realistic as it could have been. I mean in real life a person would have to wear a face mask etc for ages, but of course that would have been in lame in the movie.

On a side note 66m opening day (estimate), awesome. This movie derserves or the awards, credit money it can get. Most movies that makes heaps of money are mind numbing popcorn flicks, still good, but designed to attract big audiences.

Gonna see TDK again Tuesday..can't wait :)

**SPOILERS**

When Bruce and Fox are talking about the new bat suit, Bruce is like will it protect against dogs..and Fox is like..it will protect against cats. Anyone else find that a tad odd? Was he referring to like big cats meaning that the suit can take anything..or was it somehow a reference to catwoman?

Catwoman of course doesn't yet exist but mabye it was way of the directors to hint that Catwoman might be in the third. Could just be me being crazy.

Saw it last night night and it was awesome :), can't wait to see it again. Most hyped up movies leave me slightly dissapointed, not that they weren't good, but just they didn't meet my hyped up expectations...TDK met them easily. The joker was awesome, unstoppable and ahead of everyone else. Ill write a review a bit later down the track..don't want to spoil anything.

The movie is really intense, my heart was racing through most of it. The ending is beautiful. So many cool scenes, I can't stop thinking about it, usually I forget a film pretty much instantly but not this one.

In a side note, the RT meter for TDK is now at 94% :)...second best reviewed film of 08 atm :)

Not long now for me, about 2 and a half hours till I see it..I've waited all my life for this moment :P

RT meter is at 92% :)...I expect it to go even higher in the coming days

So many reviews hard to keep track of, the guy who reviews it in the Herald Sun ( Melbourne, Aus) gave it 4.5/5 :).

Roger Erbert gave it 4/4 :)

So pumped right now.

This must be the most over-hyped movie in the history of the world.

I just don't get it. Another batman film ....

Yay.:|

FamiBox

Judging by early reviews I the hype has been well justified, that title went to spiderman 3 last year. (no offence to marvel fans)
