I think pc gaming may move further away from the mainstream in the future, which is why some beleive it may be dying, pc gaming will always live as long as their are pcs, but I think pcs in the future, maybe a a decade from now, will have been merged with consoles, I mean you can already connect to the internet with the wii, I beleive consoles and pcs may merge into one type of unit, sure there will always be pcs, but this console/pc hybrid will become as basic as a tv in every house, thus my beleif that pc gaming is moving away from the popular mainstream, which is actually a good thing, we will be returning to our roots, hopefully.

Playing on UK servers, I've never had it in any game. Ever.

Playing on US servers, CS has been terrible for me. It's full of squeaky-voiced male teens whining about just about anything they can think of. TF2 is better, but still less than great.

People get into very confrontational arguments over such ridiculous things - I've had to listen to arguments where two people both claim the other is deliberately trying to make his voice seem deeper than it actually is.

I stick to UK pubs mostly, not just for the lower pings but also because the people are nicer. And I find that extremely strange - having stayed in both countries, I find that Americans are the nicest, most polite people I have have ever met while English people are at best reclusive and aloof and at worst complete jerks. But online, I dunno... it's the opposite.

mfsa

Its the dickwad theory at work:

Normal person + Anonymity + Audience = Total dickwad.

or maybe in this case: Normal person + Anonymity + Anger + ego(pride) = Total dickwad.

PS - gamespot dosent censor "dick"?! Im baffled.

Im pretty good with the scout class, Im getting better with the sniper as well, basically suck in every other class, especially spy, I always end up getting caught before I can do anything, I finally gave up on that class, and stick to mastering the scout class.

[QUOTE="Ahurigaan"]Deus Ex is probaly the greatest game currently that is considered a FPS/RPG, Mass Effect though may be second when/if it is ported to the pc, since I Hear that the combat is much like a shooter, stalker was great as well.smerlus

Mass Effect is in third person.

okay, thanks for enlightening me on the subject, but the combat is still shooter-like, just not First-Person.I have seen vids!
