Yeah, my first 8-bit and 16-bit game experiences at home were on the Commodore and Sinclair computers (Intellivision excluded).

Since I had an Amiga I never felt I had the need for a PC. I didn't buy a PC until 1996. But by then, I had missed out on many cool games.

Some favorites C64: Bruce Lee, Beach head 2, Turrican series, Bard's tale, Wasteland, Koronis Rift, Arthur Pendragon series, Exploding fist, Gunship

Some Favorites Amiga: Defender of the crown, Wings, Cannon fodder, Desert Strike, X-out, Walker, Warlords

Some Favorites PC: Starcraft, Warcraft series, Beneath a Steel sky, X-wing & Tie fighter games, King's quest etc.

Pretty much any first model Sega console.

One in particular I always thought looked handsome was the Master System.

Everybody has a starting point somewhere and for me it was the Commodore 64! The starting point usually gives you the greatest sentimental values. What platform did you start with and do you still have warm feelings for it? Do you still own it and is it operative? And what was the first game you ever played; Mine would be commando on Commodore 64 - Great game, terrific music and superb overall.

My first gaming platform was actually an Intellivision (B-17 Bomber, Night Stalker, the Tron games and Astro Smash were my faves) but I didn't turn hardcore until my Commodore 64. Games like Commando, Parallax, Bruce Lee, Koronis Rift, Wasteland, Bard's tale etc. Still love the SID chip

The SID still is awesome! I really think that some of the best arrangements have been made with it. The music of Spellbound and The Last Ninja is one of the best ever composed for a computer game.

Totally agree.Platoon, BMX simulator, Batman the movie, 720 degrees. So many classics.

R-type!

I like the Mastersystem version the most although the c64 version is good too.

Armalyte, Uridium, Agony, Xenon II, X-out, Commando. I remember a game on the Genesis called Hellfire which was impossibly difficult, but fun as hell.

I remember playing an Amiga Darkman game, which was like a sidescrolling beat'em up you could pick up a Briefcase and hit people with it and you got chased by a helicopter... there was some jumping involved. can't remember much. I've never played the NES game. The movie RULES though.

Soul Blade remains one of my favorite games for the Ps1.

I liked Colin McRae ten years ago. I haven't played it since.

Ridge Racer Type 4 is a really good racer (still today).

Spec Ops had a whole Series going, ranger elite, stealth patrol, airborn rangers etc. - Not very good in my opinion, borderline to bad. I have stealth patrol.

I played and enjoyed Alundra a couple of years ago, but never finished it.

I still "retro" game.

Yes I do still play my Playstation console and games like Silent Hill and Covert Ops Nuclear dawn. along with Gamecube and my GBA SP.

I even still buy old Playstation games from pawn shops and I still have Suikedon 1 on mylist of games to get from pawn shops

Nuclear dawn is a cool game. Have you finished the S-mission? It was released as Chase the express (Much worse name haha) in Europe. There are so many titles available for Ps1 and Ps2 that you always find something interesting at pawn shops or second hand garage sales.
