I never said it was that simple. Ferrari have a well publicised issue with a lack of correlation between wind tunnel testing and reality - that is their biggest issue so.......doesn't matter how good anyone else is within that team with that sort of issue going on. SadPSPAddict

Exactly the point! A car's performance is defined by a myriad of variables, a driver's feedback only being one of them. That's why judging a pilot's ability to give feedback to his team based solely on the car's performance is not something I'd advice to do.

no doubt that the car is better now than it was 10 races ago. No evidence based on previous seasons that Rosberg is able to contribute to that process.SadPSPAddict

I'm willing to bet that has more to do with a certain illegal test than with Hamilton having any magical feedback-giving ability.

Equally the McLaren isn't getting any better suggesting that driver feedback isn't Jenson's best quality either! SadPSPAddict

Neither is the Ferrari. Three years in a row. Does that mean Alonso is terrible at that? No. It's not that simple.

Back in his Renault days, Alonso was phenomenal over one lap, took a fair few poles.kipi19

Back in his Renault days, indeed :P

For starters, Vettel would qualify better than Alonso every time.

In equal equipment I reckon Fernando would walk all over Seb lolkipi19

At his best (2012-level)? Maybe. But this year he's been far from that. While Vettel only seems to be getting more solid.

From the moment I read the headline, I've stored the chances of this in the same cabinet as "odds on Button joining Red Bull shoot up" - absolutely nil.Redders1989

This.

Which raises the question, do we REALLY need that many threads in the first place? That Rush thread has had TWO replies (not counting yours Redders, as OP) since April. Do we really need three threads to talk about GT6, Forza 5 and F12013? This very thread had been innactive for over a year.

We have so many stickies for topics that barely get any activity, seems very pointless to me, and counterproductive since it make difficult to see new threads, which isn't particularly encouraging.

We don't need more than 2-3 stickies at most.

Both the PS4 and the One feel like a waste of money at this point. I'm so unimpressed by what has been shown. If MS didn't have that ace in the hole that is Forza 5, which I really want, I would skip both entirely for a year or two.
