Making a broad, quick and not particularly well-informed statement, I'd say Merc is on the right. If the Ferrari have been doing tests (alledgely more than once), and Pirelli actually sent those emails, then I don't believe they broke the rules (though I believe they weren't sure about that, as they claim).

Let's see what happens.

Microsoft finally realised "huh, maybe this DRM thing isn't going to work out for us".

No more DRM, no more connecting to the internet rubbish. Gamers win!

So... everyone still on for a PS4 anyway?

Redders1989

I preordered a One with Forza. Granted, I was already going to get one sooner than later, but this made the decision so much easier.

Laughing hard at the black helmets thing. So good.

Surprised by the tests done by Ferrari, too. Punish them both, I say.

And make the whole testing thing more open, clear and transparent.

Btw, that doesn't mean I think they're not cheating (neither that I think they are), just that if they are, I find very improbable that that's the way the are doing it.

That option 13 thing was so simplistic (a hidden command, which, according to the rumor, was found in the first check)  it's not exactly something that make one believe it would be more feasible now, with tighter rules, specifications, checks and controls.

I'm quite familiar with the theory of oscillations ("Schwingungslehre" as we called it when I was studying in Germany), but  the amount of theory tried to be discussed in that thread is mostly "things vibrate, duh".

If oscillations are actually to blame, it's impossible to determine by that picture alone or the minor flashes of theory being said there. I'm more interested in what people with experience with those patterns are saying, though most of it it's quite vague to say the least.

All interested theories, no doubt, but so poorly formulated. No that I have a better one :P

I was hoping for a link bro :P

Anyways, there a couple of reasons that could lead to that pattern, according to a colleague of mine who specializes in suspensions and damping. Sure, it could also be TC, but that's a most unlikely case.
