When I saw the score pop up in the video, I rapidly glanced back and forth between the video and the site review score until the score on the screen suddenly changed to match the one on the site. Seriously what was that just then? In any case this looks awesome.
@Metallicwolf29 @zfazal84 Not really. But as I stated earlier, XBox Live isn't content, but a network brick wall. In truth, they could almost remove Live altogether and you'd still be able to connect to Call of Duty. You'd just have some DRM issues which Activision would likely take upon itself to sort out.
@spammehardo @westsiderz28 Don't even get me started on Matchmaking, I'm just glad that PC games that have that system still have it only as an option.
Thank God for Tribes: Ascend enabling the server browser.
@Metallicwolf29 @frothyrocket @ReyesArts25 I believe Bill Gates himself said that in the time it would take him to bend over to pick up a million dollar bill off the ground, he'd earn twice as much from Microsoft alone, straight to his account.
He wasn't exaggerating.
Moreso, he doesn't even work at Microsoft, let alone own it anymore. He just has shares in it.
You can just imagine the financial troubles the company must be having.
@Ghostdog201 @frothyrocket @westsiderz28 That's my point exactly. XBox Live could make sense to require a monthly fee, but it is literally nothing more than a toll bridge. It has no connection of its own to speak off.
@ReyesArts25 When XBox Live becomes a dedicated broadband connection exclusive to XBoxes that is truly good and has genuinely high speed internet, sign me up. In the mean time, while it is merely there as nothing more than a brick wall with a social network on one side, if I'm going to be using my own internet connection then don't prevent me from doing so for already dropping enough money to buy your product.
@ReyesArts25 I'm saying they're pushing it in this economy considering that so many people can hardly afford to pay for internet alone, and in addition to pay the toll to be allowed to use XBox Live. In reality, XBox Live doesn't even do anything, it is simply a brick wall preventing you from using your own internet. It's the game developers that run these servers, not Microsoft.
@ReyesArts25 My counter arguement; do you even know the amount of money Microsoft makes on virtually everything else?
This isn't a question of keeping their business afloat, this is a question of filling their money pool with just a bit more nickels and dimes to swim around in like Scrooge McDuck.
