"Be one with the Many"

I personally enjoyed SS1 more than SS2.. but, that was ooohh when it was released.. :) Years ago..

If you play SS1.. just beware of the Hopper respawn.. they be a killer ;) Level R.. the reactor.. oh and be sure to turn on the shields before firing the lazer :P

Oh and be VERY sure to "Salt the fries"!

Until I can pay my taxes, bank online, talk to my grandmother on IMs, surf the web, burn CDs/DVDs, download media (of all forms), do graphic design, make a webpage, share video, edit pictures/movies, etc on a console... then, and only THEN will I dump a PC.. (Frankly, I think we are a few decades away from making that transistion.. if it all)

I prefer Project: Snowblind to Crysis.

I'll give it a perfect 10 on graphics though.. :)

Maybe Crysis will take a bit for me to digest.. FEAR took 2 run throughs before I liked it.. we shall see :)

I owned a Apple IIc... does that count?

Although in 1992.. I prefered Mac over PC.. but in the end I bought a 386/SX as my first IBM Compatible a DELL (yes they were around back then).. my next system was a 486/DX2 IBM PS/2 .. This system I kept for 10yrs.. even slapped a Overdrive Processor to make it run Windows 95... You think Vista is bad?! Pffft... Windows 95 was the horror of the computer world.. THANK GOD for Windows 98!

Direct X 3 still rules :P

Diablo 1.. I played every character and even Hellfire.. using the command.txt.. maxed every character out.. Yeah.. worthless game.. I guess it wasn't worth putting Windows 95 on my 486/DX2 to play it.... what was I thinking!?!?

(sarcasm heavily implied)

[QUOTE="Alkpaz"][QUOTE="robokill"][QUOTE="vfibsux"]

[QUOTE="robokill"]they have body armor, this isn't theUS army we're talking about, shoot a real man with body armor who is jacked up on adrenaline,he won't go down either. Try shooting the bad guys in the head. Snubnose38spl

Your joke was not funny at all, keep that BS to yourself or save it for another forum.

a: the US armed forces have recently raised concerns over soldiers not having adequate body armor, it was a valid point

b: the korean soldiers in this game have body armor

c: you're a retard

Taking about Dragon Skin which is used by the CIA but NOT the military.. that figures.. hell.. we even nuked our own marines back in the 40s.. military units = cannon fodder.

Dragonskin does not
stop the Dragonov AP round or PKC round which is
being used very frequently in Iraq. The
military-issued ESAPI plates will stop this round.
It will only stop it once or twice, but it will
stop it, which i prefer. That is the main reason
it is generally not smart to wear dragonskin.

huh didn't know that.. you learn something everyday :)

Ya, my mistake. My apologies :)

dnuggs40

No harm no foul :)

I believe "perverse" is what you will it to be.. for some that line can be as broad as a modern aircraft carrier.. and to others as narrow as a hair.. As with my previous statement that it must be between one or more consenting adults.. :) (gotta note that line! :P )

However, I don't agree with telling others how to live their lives, IF they do it without harm to others.

There is a fine line though, between fantasy and perversion. In this case, it's obviously harmless. I think you and I both know there are people with "fantasy" that can be quite dangerous. Not just physically, but also mentally.

dnuggs40

I agree there ... there is a line :) I should say between two (or more) consenting adults :)

[QUOTE="Alkpaz"]

[QUOTE="dnuggs40"]And what kind of "fun" can you have with a computer generated image?Arcadius

Why do we men (some women) look at porn? Its an image of a woman on a screen.. or a couple.. or several people.

Why do we watch full motion videos of sexual acts?

It's the same manure, different smell..

Don't tell me those women are actually "getting off".. they are "faking" the orgasm to make the movie look good.. that is why they are called "porn actresses".

haha some serious preachin' there dude.

I say looking at Alyx in game would be like looking at good art, though the fact that she is a hot chick does make it easier to appreciate.

Who knows, by the logic of some posters here, people who get off with pixel vixens are weird, but then again they could have atrophy wife, and all the stuff that makes one"cool" and still hide a"dark secret". Sodealing in absolutes is flawed.

Once upon a time I was one of those Evangelicals :)

I have given up to the inevitable backslide that makes us Human.... All Too Human :)

I believe that is why most marriages fail.. that and finances.. we do not tell our spouses our "dark secrets".. and in the end it causes a break..

The most important thing is be truthful to yourself.. (I'm not suggesting that we go tearing through the street flaunting our, umm how would I put this, "egos"?) But being truthful to ourselves enough to let our significant others know how we really feel. In the end we will be happier individuals for it.. :)

I am liberal, and an adult/married/children so no need to play the "I'm probably older then you" card.

And regardless if Alyx is based off of real women, it is in fact, not real. On the other hand, Angelina is a real women, and when you see a picture of her body, it is a real body.

What is the difference between a guy having "fun time" with a computer animated image and a guy who has "fun time" with a blow up doll? Nothing...both guys are sexually attracted to fake and imaginary things.

Also, I don't see a problem with what people do either, frankly if you want to have "fun time" with fake things, whatever. It doesn't change the fact is is kooky and wierd though. I guess I just prefer my women to be actual women.

dnuggs40

I wasn't quoting you, was I Dnuggs? I was responding to the other person.. yours came after.. :)

I do know you have children.. and are married .. I have not forgotten :P
