Are 80 gigs still backwards compatible? What I mean is if I had to exchange it for a new one at Target where my warranty is would I get one with BC? If not it's not even worth it. I thought I heard somewhere they weren't making them BC anymore.
Anyway...is it possible to backup PS2/PS1 games to an SD card? Probably not huh?
I have a warranty yeah. I just don't want to have to redownload everything. Are 80 gigs still backwards compatible? I'm pretty sure I can back up all of my PS1/PS2/PS3 saved games to an SD card right and just do a system restore in hopes it's just the emulation that's messed up?
I was playing Dragon Quest VIII for about 3 hours tonight, decided to take a break. I put some laundry in, grabbed some dinner. I came back and selected it from the interface menu to start playing again, but all I get is a blank screen. No sound, nothing. I have to manually shut down and turn on my PS3 to get out of it. I tried googling this and someone said that it happened to them and they just stuck a PS3 game in and played for a bit, then tried a PS2 game and it worked again. So I played Soul Calibur for about an hour, and then stuck DQVIII back in, no luck.
My system software is up to date, and it wouldn't play DVD's the first time I tried after the freeze up, but they're working fine now again. Does anyone have any advice? Has this happened to anyone? I sold my PS2 because of the PS3 BC, so now I'm a little pissed. I remember when I got my PS2 and a few months later it stopped playing DVD's completely, and I don't want to put up with that again.
[QUOTE="Amaranthix"]If you feel like paying 60 dollars for a movie, then by all means get it.YPenguinY
That's a quote from someone who has not played it.
You should buy it, but if you can, you should play MGS and MGS2 first. It'll enhance the game so much. But as a stand alone game, it's still one of the best.
Assuming is a bad thing. I've played through the game, twice, on different difficulties. The second time I skipped the cutscenes, realized just how little "game" there is in this, and traded it in at Gamestop.
MGS4 is pretty, and has some tightly clothed women, which I can only imagine are the reasons it gets such crazy reviews from people. Calling this a 10.0 game though is a joke.
Hype and mob mentality are powerful things.
