I also feel like Nintendo won E3.

Between all the Nintendo first-party games announced and that life is strange collection as well as Danganronpa collection headed to the switch. I feel like this is going to be one of their best years especially from a JRPG standpoint. That's not even bringing up the fact that next year is going to be one of their best years ever as far as software. Nintendo is really on a roll this Generation.

Well I'm kind of biased because I only have Nintendo's console so from my vantage point Nintendo has the brightest future. What I seen from E3 will ensure me that I'll be able to play a lot of great jrpgs for the next two or even three years.

@Pedro: what company in their right mind would make that particular game an exclusive?

Square Enix dropped the ball this year. Maybe next year they'll have something worthwhile.

Last gen people here know I bought the call of duty xb1 (Xbox had the marketing deal with Advanced Warfare) They had a ton of big hitting games at launch Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, and Ryse. This gen they have absolutely nothing to start off the generation with Phil Spencer's X-Series while Sony is coming out really hard with tons of games like Demon Soul's, Miles, Returnal...

Xbox didn't do a big hitter marketing deal with CoD I also bought Halo MCC couple months later that first year when I bought it. Literally no reason to get one right now unlike last gen with the xb1 i had a ton of reasons tht first year.

What has changed from Xbox one to X_Series as far as strategy?

It seems like the box looks uglier than Xbox One S to me (personally) The price seems like the only thing its beating last generation on its the same price as a ps5 instead of 100 more and weaker.

This gen it might be slightly more powerful with a worse SSD than the PS5 which is better WAY better than last gen.

The controller is the same which isn't the worst but I still vastly prefer the dual shock 4 over the xbone controller for my PC gaming. Haven't even tried the dual sense and xbox guys are swearing that its another level on top of the dual shock 4 even like Ryan McCaffrey said its the only playstation controller he will use now thats a really bad sign for the x-series controller if it keeps improving an xbox stays stagnate on that front.

Is Phil really turning things around from the xb1 generation or just doing the same old same old as mattrick maybe even less?

Please don't mention gamepass I like to buy and own my digital games an keep em on my drive an play on my terms what I want when I want.

I need to have a seat and address what you said head on. First you don't even want us to mention Game Pass. Game Pass is the strategy that they're using this generation. They're not battling Sony when it comes to Home console sold anymore. They don't care about system sales at this point. The goal is to sell Game Pass. They are not really too concerned about building up their own first party Library. They want to get exclusive on Game Pass which is why they are buying up companies as we speak. It is all to entice people to join Game Pass. Now I guess you can look at that as building up their own first party Studios but the way I see it it is more about having exclusives on Game Pass. And they are using these acquisitions to do that but by way of second party Studios not necessarily first party. At the end of the day they are not competing with Sony the same way that they used to do. The game is different now. They are trying to become the Netflix of Gaming.

I am not a Sony fan as a matter of fact I hate the company and their console but I do agree that all games should be $70 or more. The reason why I feel this way is because I believe we should support the developers that we love to the utmost. Certain developers deserve more money than what they're asking for because they're a product is so good. I for one can wholeheartedly say that Nintendo software should cost way more than what it's costing now. Their first party games is that good especially monolithsoft games and intelligent systems games.

Nintendo doesn't do it because they have integrity.
