Sony Fanboys need to just stop while they're ahead. If they are real with themselves they will admit that the PlayStation 5 will either finish 1 million more above PS4 or most likely 1 million less than PS4. The system will not sell 10 million units in Japan. They will never catch the legendary company known as Nintendo. Nintendo knows darn well that they need to stick with hybrid consoles or portable consoles because those are the only consoles that the Asian markets respect at this point. If Sony had half a brain they would be planning the ps6 to be a hybrid but we all know you hardcore Sony Fanboys don't want a hybrid or a portable to be Sony's main Flagship console because all you guys care about is Graphics Graphics Graphics Graphics graphics. By focusing on Graphics you will only be appeasing the western markets and you can forget about the Eastern Markets if that's the case.

Boy oh boy I tried to stay out of this topic but I just couldn't resist myself in the end. Of course these type of topics are touchy for everyone because Fanboys on both sides would love to defend their console of choice and that's understandable because human beings are tribal creatures. But I think the answer is quite simple. It's a tie between the two companies. Nintendo has been making consoles since the very first generation of gaming. Their first console was the color TV console and their first handheld was the Game & Watch handheld. So Nintendo is clearly the most historic and legendary of all gaming companies in this industry. But only one brand came in and knocked them off their Throne hard and that was the PlayStation brand. That and that alone puts that brand on equal footing with Nintendo. At the end of the day, I say both of them are a tie. Nintendo stands undefeated in the handheld market and Playstation stands nearly undefeated in the Home console Market. So both brand know darn well what they're doing and how to thrive and succeed in their respective niches. They are both well known around the world so I think Fanboys on both sides need to accept that and stop trying to put down the other brand.

I am absolutely enjoying the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo has brought that fire this generation and they are doing an excellent job with their console. I am currently playing Bravely Default 2. This game is phenomenal. I love the fact that I can play and listen to the game all in Japanese if I want too. I love the battle system and the story is very good but what really makes the game shine is the music. I'm having a good time so far this year with gaming.

To answer the question, yes I believe it is going to surpass the PS2 sometime this year. I suspect that the Switch will be at maybe 22 million or 23 million by the end of this year.

Sony is taking advantage of their gullible fans. In this industry Gamers support their so-called beloved brand no matter how ridiculous their decisions are. Sony raising these prices are at the absolute most ridiculous thing a console manufacturer has done in decades but you will not see not one Sony Fanboy argue against what Sony is doing. They all love that company so much that they will do and follow whatever Sony tells them. Next Generation Sony could raise the prices to $90 per game and all Sony Fanboys will be jumping for joy. It's just simply how gullible they are.

Japan literally belongs to Nintendo. Fanboys of all consoles throughout the world should already know this. Nintendo's first console was called the color TV console which was released in the first generation of gaming in Japan. The Japanese associate video games with Nintendo and it doesn't matter how popular PlayStation becomes in that country they will always view Nintendo as the true meaning and essence of video games. But this is old news and everybody already knows this which is why no one should be surprised that a Nintendo system is completely and totally and utterly dominating Asia right now.
