Glad to see Sony confirmed their PS5 games are coming to Microsoft Windows PC.
Sony is basically going multi-platform now so I hope all you Sony Fanboys can just keep your mouth shut now. Your precious beloved PlayStation will be having their first party games going to the PC and to mobile devices. Now that your so-called precious beloved Sony will be creating a mobile Department within their company as well that will focus on making games for Apple devices and Android devices. So basically their resources is being split by entering multi-platform development just like all other third-party companies. I am very glad this is happening.
Sony should let sony music do mobile games considering their experties, they are very successful at that, keep console PlayStation devs out of it. Some of sony music mobile titles is one of highest grossing ever in japan (or in the world, idk).
Get over it your precious Sony is going to be pouring huge amount of resources into Mobile gaming as stated in the article and they will be putting their most important PlayStation developers on those projects which will certainly divert resources from first-party PlayStation Focused games. This is great and I'm happy that this is happening. Hopefully over time Microsoft will be able to chip away at sony's market share.
Would love to see Breath of the Wild 2, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3/X 2 myself for sure. Those all probably aren’t going to come out this but they still have a number of games coming out soon that I’m really looking forward to plus still got a bunch already out that I’d like to get around to getting.
If Nintendo announces Xenoblade Chronicles 3 or X2 ...
I would literally have a heart attack. I would be so happy. I feel like I would be able to die blissfully and peacefully.
I'm sorry but if anything they rather support Nintendo or the PC instead of Xbox. Culturally they just don't like Microsoft or the Xbox brand or any non Japanese brand. They only throw scraps at the Xbox brand but if they really had to support one outside of the PlayStation brand they're definitely going to support Nintendo or PC. I feel like most of these Japanese companies are leaning more towards the PC and mobile nowadays. However Nintendo is definitely being considered in the mix.
I cast my vote for the Xbox brand because I am sick and tired of each and every generation everybody keep flocking to the Sony system even if the Sony system is worse than the Xbox system ( usually the Xbox system is more powerful and has better online capabilities). people keep saying Sony PlayStation is better because brand name recognition but it doesn't mean it's better it's just means is more popular. If power is what determines whether or not a system is better then the Xbox console should be the more popular one. just think about it Xbox is more powerful and has better online as well as a better subscription service it also shares the same third-party support so the only thing that separates the two system is the first party software which I will admit Xbox is not better than Sony in that category as for now, but this generation it is clear that the Xbox should have much better first party due to all of the Acquisitions that Microsoft did over the last few years
@techhog89: yes these guys know that Nintendo has nothing to do with it. This is a third-party developer that's releasing this application. But because this is a console war they will attack Nintendo no matter what even if it has nothing to do with Nintendo. And I guarantee you it is coming from the Sony fans because the Microsoft fans don't really worry about attacking Nintendo since everyone knows that Microsoft and Nintendo is somewhat friends. So the Sony fans are trying to clown Nintendo here but it's only going to backfire because this is not a seriously negative situation. Bottom line is the switch is getting some app that is much needed. It'll be nice if they can have an alarm application as well in the future. Basically any apps that can replicate smartphone devices would be welcomed.
