Well like everyone born in the eighties, I was a big fan of the original transformers (more than meets the eye!) series, and watched/bought The Transformers movie (the one with Unicron, which was pretty tight). Still have it now, except on DVD. But now a modern and somewhat "darker" take on it by Micheal Bay and Steven Spielburg is coming out July 2007. Check out the trailer/teaser here:

Well Super DBZ is even closer to release, and the closer it gets of course you'll see new videos surfacing everywhere. Heres another one, just thought i'd post. Also Naruto Ultimate Ninja for the PS2 seems ALOT better than clash of the ninja. They even have different visual styles, Clash of the Ninja takes after the anime and Ultimate Ninja takes after the Manga (kinda like Super DBZ takes after the Manga and Budokai Tenkaichi 2 takes after the anime).

And of course i'm really looking forward to Chromehounds (i'm a sucker for mech games, and one with lots of customization and a persistant online war mode is right up my alley).

After about 50 hours playing Romancing Saga, playing Alberts story (renamed em Edward for some reason...had FFIV on the brain) and with Sif, Guella Na, Claudia, and Grey in my party...Finally got to Saurin (fighting em at the moment). Just broke into his second form (damn RPG bosses for always having a second insane form:D). And well, here goes nothing. Hope I trained my characters well enough for this!

EDIT#2: HELL YEAH!! I BEAT HIM!! lol he was just about to do a full powered Rain of Blade when all of a sudden he stopped mid attack, and just started to disentigrate! Exactly at 3:10am 8)

That was FREAKING AMAZING! Seriously. I mean this has got to be the best application of the DOOM engine ever! The gravity walks/switches really do confuse you (most games say they will but they dont...but these wow....Tommy even threw up after a few switches) And the portals are really nice. The organic guns and ship actually are kinda gross (in a good way i guess) And Jeremy Soule (sp?) did a good job with the soundtrack. And the graphics...wow dont even get me started there. The aliens look really realistic (skin is all slimy looking, and the animation is top notch) and the bio-mechanical ship is just crazy!

Not to mention including Art bell for extra realism! Heh listen to Coast to Coast am with George Noory/Art Bell all the time, and hearing it in a game (while its on in the back ground) was just wierd. Though it sucks that the call used was from Garland Texas.... *Gulp* i'm in texas <_>.

This game is definatly all they hyped it to be! It really is fun, and captures the feel of the old-school mario bros. games, and tosses in a few new features as well. Plus the DSlite...wow. Didnt really think it would be a big deal until I turned it on for the first time. The DSlite really makes all the colors of a DS game stand out and well...you just have to play it for yourself. From the very second the DSlite boots up its first game, you'll find yourself wondering how you've been playing DS games this long on the classic system (At least thats what I asked myself lol). It even breathes new life into your old DS games, they look 2x better when played on the lite.

Havent really had anything to post about since E3 really....nothing much has happened,out of the ordinary anyway. Except for the fact im typing this with my left hand only. Injured my right hand at work (deep cut...damn boxes) so im outta commission for a bit with console gaming. Tomorrow is DSlite day, so hopefully im good enough for that. New mario bros here I come!

Crazy ass announcements are bound to pop up. Notice that conference timer on the frontpage of gamespot? Thats right, all your ( and my own) question will finally be answered about the PS3 and Nintendo Wii, and of course 360. Not to mention games upcoming for current generation systems. Finally get to know prices and everything else about the other big systems (Wii and PS3). Heres looking forward to a week of tight videos, pictures, and unexpected surprises8)

Update #1 The nintendo Wii appears in TIME magazine! Not just any magazine, but TIME! And they actually have good things to say about it. They said that it actually dissolves the wall between game and player, and you literally feel like you're in the game. They played Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess using the controller (gamecube game with addition Wii functions). They loved the way you faught with swords, how the bow worked, and the way fishing felt real with the controller. They also played Tennis and Warioware wii.

Update #2 Square-Enix is currently holding an E3 conference, and guess what: Dragon Quest Swords and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles have been announced for the wii! Not only that, but DQ:S is going to be a launch title for the wii! Plus they said FFIII DS will be availible in North America in September, so this is all great new. Probably gonna have a blitz of stuff after the PS3 conference (which is today, you gotta watch that). And this just in, ah snap, Final Fantasy XIII on the PS3 (like you didnt know that was comin).

Now you might say wtf, that looks like PS2. But check it out, its wireless AND its got a USB plug. Looks good to me, Also even better the PS3 internet network will be....FREE! More coming while I watch!

Wow Resistance:Fall of man looks pretty good too, its made by insomniac, the people who made Ratchet& Clank, its also got 32 player multiplayer, and is playable at E3. Of course Assasins creed was shown, by the Prince of Persia team, and that game looks tight as well. Next up is Tekken 6 and Sonic, both games looked amazing, with Jin punching the crap out of some lady, who bounced off a wall. And Sonic...that game looked fast beyond belief, and shadow was driving a vehicle? Just showed Virtua Fighter 5, and Tekken 6 is gonna have some competition.  Alright the video conference is over and wtf... 500 dollars?! And not only that, sony friggin copied the revolution controller's motion detection....real nice sony...real nice. But then again it was bound to happen. Nintendo always introduces new ways to game (rumble pack, analog, etc.) and everyone copies em (sometimes right off the bat). But now PS3 and Wii will definatly leave 360 in the dust. Not to mention all games from here on out will have motion sensing capabilities most likely.

Update #5  Nintendo's conference! Apparently they are still going to hold back a bit, and release news bit by bit (especially after what happened with sony last night). But what was shown was great! Red Steel looks nice, and the way it controls is pretty cool too. Then theres Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and the introduction of an actual sports series line for the Wii called Wii sports. The wii controller has been redesigned a little bit (new button labels and official logo) also its got a built in speaker. Why you ask? Picture this, you reload your gun, it not only feels like you just put bullets in the gun(controller rumble) but also you hear it coming from the controller like a real gun. Same with a bow, you draw the string back and nock the arrow(you hear that only coming from the controller) then let the arrow fly (you hear it release from the controller and whoosh in the air until it gets "into the TV" then you hear it inside the TV's speakers). Closer to virtual reality.... Also it was revealed that Zelda Twilight Princess would release for both the Cube and the Wii on the Wii's release date,however no date or price has been given....yet. More coming up later after more videos pop up. Update #7 aka Damn you Xbox360!

its just been announced that the next-gen gta game, GTA4 will be released for the Xbox360 in October 2007?! Gah!

Anyway lots of DS games announced and shown at: http://e3src.nintendo.com/ first shots of Starfox DS and the new Yoshi's island 2. Also a completly original Kirby DS.

Recent update: GTA 4 will ship simultaneously for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 16, 2007. So it's not Xbox360 exclusive.

Final Update Well E3 ended last friday, and well....gotta say that it seemed to be one of the best E3's ever. Wish we got a wii release date, but i'll take what I can get. Also managed to convert many people from their favorite systems, to systems they never thought they'd own. All systems had a pretty good showing, but Nintendo stole the show with the wii. Now look forward to the real showdown...Holiday season 2006 *dun dun dunnn* coming this November.

Back when I played Final Fantasy XI online, I was in a guild called crystal guardians. We went through a few name change issues and ended up being called invictus for awhile. First off, both games look AMAZING! Probably gonna give Sonic a big boost in the gaming world like Sonic Rush did, or the first Adventure game back on the dreamcast. Theres also the intro of a new enemy, a white Hedgehog. Not sure what his name is or if its really evil or just confused (like Shadow) but I do know that this is gonna be a great game.
