Eucalyptus trees should not be planted near houses. We had two of them right outside crack in half and land on our neighbors' condo patios from the big wind storm that blew through yesterday. If the wind blew the other way it would have crashed through our place. Then as we went outside today, we saw more flimsy eucalyptus trees downed with branches and rubbish everywhere. Many fences were knocked down as well. So much for the weather. This week we'll be in the Los Angeles area, and hopefully we won't be bringing the miserable rainy weather with us. Angus and Kitty get to stay home and guard the place. The girl of the week is Rebecca Forstadt. This was a very tricky entry to clear. Her correct entry is http://www.tv.com/rebecca-forstadt/person/32292/summary.html but it shows up SECOND in the search, so in order to add her properly, I had to delete her old entries completely and then add the second one. If I uncheckboxed her and checkboxed the other one, it sometimes messes up and I get the duplicate entry again. It didn't help that about five times today the cast list wouldn't update at all. ARGH! No boxies this week but if you're looking for activity it's mainly around Tenchi Muyo and Adventures of Mini-Goddess, and a ton of people edits for Funimation, Wiggles, and Japanese actors which are all pending from the staff in the Queue of Doom. I also finished those Wiggles episodes, so just need one episode from the second season and that guide will be complete in terms of TV episodes! Yay! :)

Of course it can’t be helped when you’re watching Love, Actually and the kids are singing All I want for Christmas is You. That song is way too catchy even if I can’t remember the lyrics. It makes me howl like a dog. [QUOTE="Not much"]

I just noticed all the icons this time around are things you put on your head, except for the butterfly! I decided to post a bunch of people info this week, but it happened to be the week that none of my submissions into the Queue of Doom got any attention. And then I ended up posting something about Santa that was already mentioned in the guide. D’oh! That’s discouraging. I guess I’ll stick to regular guides? The missing Wiggles episodes showed up this week so I’ll try to fill them in if they haven’t been erased yet. I’m also going to shoot at another guide with cast cleanup, and then maybe set my sights on some of those duplicate people that have been waiting for a piece of the limelight. Blopper Question of the Week (easy one): 1) Are you done with your Christmas shopping yet? We actually had Christmas with the family last Sunday so about half of the presents got opened. We’ll have another round on Christmas day, but needless to say most of our shopping is done!

I haven’t seen any dogs wear hats, or shades for that matter. Usually we just eat the plastic sunglasses. I’ve filled out some of the information for Ah My Goddess DVD Volume 1, which is nice and sweet, just like the series. The level boost was mainly thanks to spending about four hours straight on Saturday doing Tenchi Muyo cast propagation and cleanup for 80+ episodes. Whoever suggested they add one actor at a time has got to be joking. Hehe. My favorite contributions this week were the Dirty Jobs quotes. If you have not seen this series, please check it out on the Discovery Channel. You’ll be going ewwww a lot but it’s still informative and the host is perfect for the job. Some of the places I probably know how to get there. Ewww!!! Should I shoot for some people guides? Getting Eric Johnson X changed to Eric Vale was a big one but hmm maybe I need to learn more about all these actors who do the shows I love. Did just that with a bunch of postings this weekend thanks to the Funimation actor profiles on the DVD. I must blog more. Status reports are soooo boring!! So here’s are two questions for all you bloppers (you can answer whichever ones you feel like): 1) Are you having a White Christmas where you live? If so, tell me about the snow! If not, where are you? 2) When was the last time you dialed 911? Was it when you were a kid, and accidentally called it, or was there something significant that happened? This was the week where the level boosts got messed up earlier, so there's probably a ton of credit that didn't show for everyone. I managed to land one of my favorite animes, Tenchi Muyo. The guide is actually in very good shape, and mainly needs cast tweaking to remove Voice Of's. I know some editors insist that voice actors should have Voice Of in all their credits, but unless that shows up specifically on their credits on TV, I'm dropping them (they don't in Tenchi Muyo anyway). Much of Azumanga Daioh has already been cleaned up thanks to DaveJS124. I recently learned of some formatting standards from missribs' blog and may try to apply some on the entries. Fruits Basket CP's took a drop because of the 26 deleted episodes. Deletions of entire episodes are about the only place where you can lose CP's but it's not a big deal. If you have some just PM missribs or danmod to take care of it or watch the editor's forum regularly for a thread. I'll try to blop where I can; hopefully will catch everyone on my butterfly list except those who aren't into blopping or the staff folks who are plenty busy not to be bothered with blopping. That's OK, we can still be friends! :) Figure out what was new? This is kind of complicated so bear with me. I've had the priviledge to change some of the people's credited names recently and discovered something tricky. Because the people search directory has not been updated, if you want to find the person you’ll have to do so with their previously credited name. I recently changed Eric Johnson X (person id 104252) to Eric Vale If I add a star using Search for Actor for “Eric Vale”, I’ll see “Eric Vale” in the list, but it’s actually his duplicate entry If I add a star using Search for Actor for “Eric Johnson X”, I’ll see “Eric Vale” on the top of the list, and that’s my recently changed and correct entry. Tricky, huh? You can look at this test episode. for this example

Quiet week this week, since I haven't had a chance to submit much, but I did get ALL my submissions through, including the elusive Gad Guard queue of doom entry, and the even more elusive Dirty Jobs quotes which were phantom queued. I also started a discussion about merging Eric Johnson(X) and Eric Vale and ended up submitting the rename as a compromise. I also posted some other duplicates ready for deletion there. Thanks bunches to missribs and the rest of the staff!!! My Pending this afternoon was sitting at 0!!! Yay!!! :) :) :) Thanks also to DaveJS124 who made me a Trusted Contributor for Azumanga Daioh! It's a cool show that needed some serious cleanup! This weekend if I get a chance I'll work on some leftover Wiggles episodes. It's actually looped to the point where I've got recaps covered for almost all the episodes, finally! Also got Fruits Basket recaps to start writing for episodes 8-12 and 20-26. Thanks also to my forum buddies here who keep tabs on me regularly. I enjoy reading your blogs and posts on the editor forums :) It's now gotten to the point where I've caught a butterfly! I did a word count on some of my recent recaps, and they were ranging between 400-900 words. I guess I go overboard sometimes! My family's back this weekend! Yay!!! I miss them sooo much!

Just wanted to introduce my comrade-in-paws on my banner. He goes by Kitty, and he spends about as much time or even more so as I do on top of the couch.

Submitted a pile of cast edits for Lost Universe (for Deb), and an even bigger pile of notes and cast edits for Azumanga Daioh (for the Queue of Doom). So now I'm up to 59 pending. They're mainly asian name swaps, but also some quote and note format cleanup, which hopefully will go through, but who knows.
