Thanks to missribs and the staff! We now have retired MIA editors, which means more pendings go to the Queue of Doom again. We have deleted episodes and seasons! Gee, which show did I work on this week? :) The Wiggles episodes are keeping me very busy with recaps and summaries that I often have to stop and wonder what episode matches what day! It's a quiet Veteran's Day for me. This holiday is usually fun for my family and me, but they're visiting mom and dad's, and I had to work. I figured people would be bored at how often I posted reviews, so I posted my most actively edited shows. What do you think?

Slow week for me. I don't get to post during the daytime anymore and it's a miracle if I get any time in the evenings with real life going on. I missed taping a couple of Wiggles episodes so will need to make up for that this weekend. Fruits Basket volume 3 in my hands today! Woo hoo! Great series!

So what shows do you get to watch together with your family and friends? For us, it’s mainly: HGTV The Food Channel. Dirty Jobs where we say “ewww” most of the time. Korean Music Countdown and Revolution (before AZN TV pulled the plug on their best asian music video shows...grrr) I'd watch the Nanny911/Supernanny shows but there's so much bad behavior outweighing the good habits. I’d throw in The Wiggles but my wife can only take so much. The drama shows I’d have to hold off until after the kids go to bed. Animes too, except that Fruits Basket so far has been a good find to play in the evenings. How about you all? Which shows do you watch with your friends and family, or do you just get on tv.com while your friends and family watch their shows?

This week I’ll be working on: 1. The Wiggles - daily episodes airing from this week plus added some bios on the cast. I just put in a huge pile of episode placeholders for the next two weeks, and then I found out they're showing NEW episodes on disney on Mondays at 10am. Ooo! Exciting!! :) :) :) 2. Fruits Basket casting ep 1-6 done. I wrote up some recap notes, but will have to type them up when I have the time and when I'm not recapping The Wiggles. 3. Asian Name Swaps for Fumiko Orikasa (see blog entry below for status) should be [color=green]DONE[/color]. All my changes have been submitted for her; it's now up to the editors and staff to push them through. 4. With a recent run on the costar/recurring star propagation it's time for some cast updating, starting with Rie Iwatsubo (DONE). Then comes going through all the existing guides and determining the costars/guest stars. I just inherited GTO, and will need to update the cast there. PM me if you can help out. If there are some episodes you'd like me to recap/summarize sooner, or have an idea for the next Asian actor/actress to do the name swap, please PM or drop a note here.

I've selected Fumiko Orikasa for the asian name swap this week and will be attempting to correct all her entries. On 10/3 her alias was added, and here's the rest of my progress. Vandread Second Stage is off my list. Delegated to other editors: Digimon: Digital monsters - [color=tomato]emailed rtkat3 (trusted user) and JetixMasterDan 10/6[/color] They may focus just on the American actors in their guide. Pending: Gad Guard - [color=green]main cast edited 10/6[/color], per episode [color=tomato]submitted 26/26 eps for Fumiko, 25/26 approved. The last one's stuck in a phantom queue[/color] Other Episode Summaries and Recaps 1. Lights, Camera, Action, Wiggles - SEVEN season 2 episodes. [color=green]DONE. YAY!!![/color] 2. Ah! My Goddess 2005 series - added summaries and recaps for ep 23 and 24, the final two in the season. [color=green]DONE[/color] 3. Fruits Basket Vol 1 (ep 1-6) DVD FOUND! Added English cast information for ep 1, and doing lots of quote verification and cleanup.

Is this a whoever screams the loudest gets heard forum? Yes, the bugs are affecting me too, but so is the hysteria. It's getting me neurotic trying to read each article, and ruining my Friday. And for what? Most of us here are volunteers, which means NO PAY anyways. So I'm gonna respond with GET A LIFE!! Enjoy your weekend. The staff are doing that, why not you? Watch some TV if you must. Like that commercial where the dog show judge sprays the woman with the water bottle and tells her to sit. Good Girl...sit...sit...good. At the request of my own sanity, I'm going to slow down my write-ups for summary updates for all these shows I'm editing. So if you have a preference on which ones I should focus on, please let me know so I'll pay attention to those. Editing this week: *1. Chobits main cast list propagation [color=green]DONE[/color] *2. I simplified to the top 10; the rest will all be guest stars. *3. Chobits quotes and allusions formatting. I decided to use underlines for the references, because they remind me of html links. Bindi Irwin -> Bindi Sue Irwin (croc diaries) - [color=green]Cleared thanks to staff 10/6[/color] 6. [color=green]Recap updated![/color] Haunted Junction is off my list so if you want to shoot for editor there, let me know. They need summaries. I've updated the main cast list and the front page there.

The fall season is here and my VCR queue is full. 1. Reunion 2. Veronica Mars 3. Smallville 4. FMA new eps until I'm caught up 5. Naruto new eps 6. FMA old eps 7. Stargate SG1/SGA block - likely to be reruns, but remove later because I missed a bunch in the middle. 8. The Wiggles - 6am time slot So what do you all have in your queue? Or are you using a DVR/TiVo thingy or in-demand so you can program up a ton more programs?

I've been updating the cast member titles and names for the new series I'm editing, so will propagate those through the episodes this week. This has to be done at the main cast list and also per episode. If the names are different, like Eleen Gerstell (Daphne) (uncheck) Ellen Gerstell (Daphne) (check) You can do the remove and add at the same time. But if it's like: Jeff Fatt (Jeff (the purple Wiggle)) (uncheck) Jeff Fatt (Jeff Wiggle) (check) You have to do those in two submissions. I think I'll also tackle some cast corrections on other episode guides, so I can clear out some duplicate people guides. Anyone else doing this kind of housecleaning? Share your story here.
