Cast: Ashe: Kazane, Leni: Kishou Taniyama, Seizh: Yusa Kouji , Sena: Daisuke Kishio, Zero: Kanji Hamada, Kyle-Cat: Airi Yoshida, Unan: Susumu Chiba, Maou: Jyuurouta Kosugi, Baaya:Sayori

Overview: UtM is always good and I love Kyle! Kyle! Kyle!...though Kyle sounded a bit different from what he did in the original in this one, or is that just me? All the stories were really sweet...with lots of characters struggling with their inner foibles and such. Some people might even like this better than the original game because it's a lot softer. Oh, and BTW, this is a fandisk, so it's not like a full-on game or anything.

Plot: This is a parallel pre-quel to Under the Moon. Ashe is still the heir to the throne and still has an abundance of magical powers; only she can't quite control them much. Her worries are dance lessons and study lessons. She doesn't know any boys her age and her best friend is Kyle...who she thinks is a girl. Then all the sudden one day when she's hiding from Baaya to skip dance lessons she bumps into a boy...

Graphics: Sakana Tojo's art is always good! She's on DeviantArt *SQUEE* She loves Loveless, too! No problems here...only I didn't really understand Unan's H CG...? It didn't really go with what the text was saying? Or maybe I'm just too ubu :P I think the graphics for the clock was a little boring, though. I think it should have a border.

Sound: The soundtrack was pretty. I like the little music box sounding sounds happyThey are cute. The System Voices were okay. I like the original UtM system voices better...Kyle-man doesn't sound like himself here:P

Gameplay: It's pretty much the standard otome game fare here. It's the same system as UtM; pretty easy to use, no problems. Hmm...I don't know what else to say. The main story will be the same for the good and bad endings with interchanging mini-scenes based on your decisions. It wasn't tedious to get a full complete because the game isn't that long (but pretty long for a fandisk) and the Skip function is fast.

Settings: Most of the basic settings were there. You are not allowed to customize the volume of each specific character...which was kind of "gah!" because some of the guys speak pretty quietly. You get two character voice volumes. Main character (Ashe) and Everyone Else. I wish there were individual settings. Ashe talks so loud...

Walkthroughs: I didn't use a walkthrough. I made my own. I might post it later, but since IGN doesn't do Japanese characters, I'm not sure how I'm going to do this... Oh, but I *MADE* a walkthrough:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

Conclusion: I'd *SO* buy it again! I wish they did another sequel. I.NEED.MORE.KYLE. It's enough to make me want to write a doujin! Kyle! Kyle! Kyle! The stories were all heart-wrenching and sweet...and you know when you feel like crying, the stories are really good...Good Job, Hiyo-san!

I will be getting Ijiwaru My Master! It's on presale right now but I'm waiting until they have the tokuten for the other stores to see where I'll end up getting it from...

Hmm...all the stories except Leni's made me cry. There really wasn't anything sad about Leni's arc. It was just "How do I love Leni -let me count the ways"...and Leni isn't my favorite chara. I actually love Seizh more than Leni because...Leni is too perfect or something?

Kyle is my favorite can you tell? Poor Kyle always gets the short end of the stick in almost all the stories. I think it wasn't fair that there was only one H scene for Kyle and 2 for Leni and Seizh (were their stories longer, too?)

Zero had really good endings! Even his bad ending was good so it made me happy kiss(

Oh, and I was sad Unan cut his hair ToT No! No! NOO~!

NOTE: Highlight to read the spoilers, please? I took this part straight from my IGN blog…I'm moving my gaming blog here.
Well, I lost half my walkthough :*( Oh well. Anyway it looks like I can't copy tables from Word in here...hmm...not sure what to do to save my work in between (I tried to save the post and that's how I lost it :P) We'll see, I guess. I'll have to post the review and the walkthrough as separate things. That's probably better, eh?

NOTE TO SELF: The background color for this blog is #3F4A59 :) ...now back to the walkthrough.

[spoilers]I also agree with a lot of other reviews on the internetz that the Yo good ending seemed a bit weak. Especially since I liked him the best and saved him for last...ouch. Still, I loved the game. I thought his CGs weren't as romantic and his back story wasn't as complete. The game never mentioned how he met the others. I mean it's pretty weird for a ninja and a farmer to hang out in that period, right? Since Yo was a ninja, why couldn't he walk down the walks or something instead of just fall in the tower scene? I don't get it. I think they must have just did Yo's route last and ran out of time or something. Then there's Jin. I kind of wondered how Jin lived and got regular clothes when he came to the future? Since he was supposed to be there for about a week before he bumped into Sayori...I suppose that's not important, but still, I can't help but be curious! Did he get a fake ID? How? How?! HOW?! I think Muneshige got the best ending. Aragooooon! Haha! I thought Ittousai was pretty cool, too. I felt bad for Kasumimaru. I mean he *ALWAYS* lost his arm no matter what. It must suck to have your arm kicked off. Hopefully they are really nice to him in the PS2 ver for his routes![/spoilers]

[Iimho] First Post, First Post, First Post!

So...I finally finished playing "Yo-Jin-Bo" today :) I really liked it. I can't wait for the PS2 version to get here. I think it'll probably take about a week to get here ToT. I want to write a review about it, but my "level" thing here isn't high enough to write a review :P Oh well.

There doesn't seem? to be many otome gamers here :*( I bet there are more. It'd be nice to find some here...maybe if people start to see reviews for otome games here? Maybe then I'll see more? I can't wait to get to the level where I can start to write reviews!

I guess this would be a good place for an intro then? Hmm...I play otome games...these games are like "pick a path" shoujo manga...with voices
