What I find much more amazing is when I wonder about alien civilizations and how much different they must be to our own. I also wonder how and if they are similar to human civilization.

[QUOTE="Apollo-XI"]My reading comprehensionand sanity are fine thanks. First you say, "you quoted an article, that's it". Then you contradict yourself by saying, "not just a LINK to an article and an axcerpt of said article". So, I guess I didn't just quote an article? Did you even read the article? Here it is again: http://www.jpost.com/Magazine/Opinion/Article.aspx?id=252675. Ok, so what do you think about the geopolitics related to the possibility of a war being waged against Iran by the west? If a war is conducted, what kind of events do you expect? Will Irans allies China and Russia help Iran through direct or indirect methods? After all, Iran sells alot of oil to China.airshocker

Apparently it isn't if you can't understand my posts, or the point of them. You can resort to picking at my wording if you'd like, that still doesn't change the fact that your OP had nothing to discuss.

Funny, you say I can resort to picking at you're wording when thats exactly what you just did by choosing to ignore the rest of my post. I was trying to see if you had anything to comment about the article by asking what you thought of the geopolitics, instead you choose to ignore that (maybe because you don't have any thoughts about it). Well, for an OP with nothing to discuss you sure have been discussing alot of nothing in this topic. And apparently you are the one that doesn't have reading comprehension since you contradicting yourself by saying I had only "quoted an article, that's it" and then you said "not just a link".

[QUOTE="Apollo-XI"]I can honestly say I love pancakes, waffles, and french toast equally. I enjoy breakfeast so much that I have no problem eating it for dinner (with a cup of Orange juice no less). Nibroc420
Thanks for contributing nothing to the conversation. "Which do you like best A B or C?" "I like them all equally" Rather than answering the question, you simply take the easy route.

:/ As I said, thats honestly how I feel. Like someone else said, I go through moods (or phases). Lately I have been wanting french toast so I guess I'll say that. Next time I won't post in this type of topic. Sorry for not "contributing".

[QUOTE="Apollo-XI"]"Nothing to for us"? I'm confused, do you take issue with me not giving an in depth analysis about the article? Are you not satisfied with just reading the article? Do you need my own commentary? If thats the case, I was of the impression that wasn't a necessity based on many topics I have seen on OT. Sorry, I thought the article was worth posting for people to read and I didn't realize I had to give my own commentary. I actually thought there was enough to discuss with the possibility of a large war breaking out in the near future with perhaps thousands of people being killed during the process. airshocker

If you can't understand a misplaced word in a sentence, perhaps you shouldn't be making threads on an internet forum? Save your sanity and all that.

I take issue with the fact that you made a post that had absolutely nothing in it for us to discuss. You quoted an article, that's it. This forum is called off-topic discussion. That means you need to make a thread with an actual discussion, not just a link to an article and an axcerpt of said article.

[QUOTE="Apollo-XI"]I have the web address in the OP. I couldn't link it due to problems with Gamespot. Just copy and paste?airshocker

So? How does that change the fact that you have absolutely nothing to for us to discuss in your OP?

http://www.jpost.com/Magazine/Opinion/Article.aspx?id=252675 "Elimination of Iran's nuclear facilities? Yes. This part would turn out to be the final act, the grand finale. It might have been the major target, had the US initiated the attack. However, under this "Pearl Harbor" scenario, in which Iran had launched a "surprise" attack on the US navy, the US would have the perfect rationalization to finish them off, to put an end to this ugly game." Notice the quotations when he said "surprise" attack on the US navy. Very curious as to why the author did that. Its important to point out that it says this about the author at the end of the article: "He served as an intelligence expert for the Israeli government and was a professor at Northwestern University".

I wasn't really impressed by this years movies. Yet another year with a bunch of superheros. Well, least next year there will be one superhero movie that will actually be good (Batman).

Little to none.
