50 years, from 1958 until his death in 2008.

I actually just watched an old movie of his last week called "Cat on a hot tin roof". Really good movie. Classic. I just recently started to watch old movies from the 40's-50's.

I have no idea what your current eating/drinking habits are, but if you haven't already, quit soda entirely. I was up to 240 pounds in the summer of '08, with a decent soda habit...one day I decided to quit and just stuck to water from then on. By February or March of the next year I was down to ~175lbs. Keep in mind this is with no other alterations in diet, and no changes in physical activity.

I suppose I need to drink soda if it will make me gain weight. I use to drink a coke a day, but I stopped this year because I didn't want to take anything with high fructose corn syrup. Crap is in everything. Really.

No. Although sometimes I wonder how many more years it will be before the world gets out of control. I wouldn't be surprised if we will see the world get really bad in our lifetimes. Lack of resources, climate change accelerating the frequency of natural disasters, economy's collapsing, bio warfare. Already seeing some of those.

My mother has MS, so I agree with this. I would also agree with space travel. How about a world in which we could continue to live with sustainable resources. That alone would end about half of the worlds wars. Next thing, set a limit on how many kids people could have so the world won't be overpopulated. All organs can be replaced for a modest amount of money (which is already happening very slowly).

I actually haven't made one in my life because I think its just silly. I suppose if I had to make one, I would say work hard to get into medical school.
