Well its been a long time since I've done this. Lets see last it was..... December....... some where in the 20's. Anyways so this marks the end of the CES 08 week. I was very excitied for this event and sadly we got nothing. So much for that. In news Xbox 360 had gotton great reports and Sony on the hand other needs to realize that us gamers realize that their usuing PS3 to get market share for Blu-ray and Sonydoes not care about games. Sony's secret is pretty much out. Ouch. Ninty on the other hand is well.... meh. Well I've got a project to do over teh weekends so yeah not to excitied about that. For me, its been a slow start into a new year. However I think its catching up thankfully. The hoildays really slowed me down with everything. Next week,I'll have to hope Apple will show something excellent that is actually coming out this year. Its nothing personal. Apple just always blows away tech heads (or people who just love tech) like me every year at Macworld. I'm still not an apple fanboy, dont get me wrong here. But its always interesting to see what apple comes out with. And considering M$ had more of a "socail" feel to their keynote this year. Oh and the fact Robbie Back dissed apple about how they think Media Content and stuff it just a "hobbie". Hey if Steve Jobs says it is then to Apple (and their fanboys)it is. So i guess thats it. I'll enjoy sleeping in for a long time :) :P.

So these past couple of days, Ihaven't been blogging a lot b/c my account simply wouldn't let me. Everything eles however was working. So i went to the forums and asked GS to fix it and days later i guess they did. So now that I'm back i really have nothing to talk about. Oh how about games :P. So i posted my reviews for Halo 3 and M.U.A. The reviews are my very honest opinions. Yes I found M.U.A. more fun than Halo 3. I seriously dont know y. I dont hate halo 3 at all but it just seems i had better times in halo2. Maybe as time passses the good times will roll in halo 3. M.U.A. was just simply fun and one of those games whice are quick but extremly fun. So I guess I haven't told you guys that I'm a big PC gamer :P. In my PC collection i have Half-Life 2, Doom 3 and Far cry and others. The truth is I dont PC "game" a lot. Its too expensive period. No I don't want to buy a new $800 PC thats can play crysis, heck i don't even care. Console gaming this console "gen" has never been closer to the PC in terms of... well everything 360 and PS3 can do those advance graphix and wii can do the controls. For the casual gamer, Pc gaming can be complicated and expensive. Thats why a majority of casuals stick with the console and as a hardcore gamer, i can see why. Its hard to be "hard-core" when you don't have lots of money. But like i mentioned this gen, Consoles are more closer to PC gaming than ever. I haven't reviewed or even rated any of my PC games because I don't think you would even care. Well anyways I guess now that I've told you, I'dbetter get rating. I'll talk more about PC gaming in the future.

So yeah yeah CES 08. It (microsoft's keynote)was hyped so much but failed to go anywhere. I mean all of these silly rumors were put to rest, whice is good. It wasn't a boring keynote, infact it was the most funny and entertaining keynote M$ has ever done. It was also interesting. But M$ just gave us a review of 2007 and not anything about what their doing in 2008. And really, the keynote wasn't anything important or specail. There were some headlines, but not any to make you jump up an scream (see GS's news page for more info). My favorite piece of news was not anything to do with xbox but Zune. Zune is coming to Canada and other areas this year, in spring. And of course Bill is leaving M$ for a while (we all know he'll come back bored later on).So i suggest you watch it if you want or at least read the highlights. In other news my Halo 3 review is up. And I'm back to school :( :cry: Well w/e. Right now I feeling extremly tired b/c i got no rest last night so imma go rest. Till then see ya!

So yup its 2008. Gaming-wise, I don't think this year will be better than 2007. We'll see SMBB, GTA4 and finally some good PS3 games(hopefully) but my 2008 GOTY is automatically Fable 2. Yes I know I havn't played or seen it (nobody has) but there isn't one game i could be excitied more for 2008. So just today belive or not, I found out that JEFF GERSTMANN IS STILL ALIVE!!! But in all serious-ness(?) good'ol Jeff runs his own blog @ www.jeffgerstmann.net. If you don't belive it, check jeff's profile right here on GS. So I'm a big fan of Jeff, I always take his word on Video Games. And I've bookmarked his blog so I'll be reading it daily. Well maybe this isn't the right time but.... in the latest M$ news A Windows Home Server bug has been going around..... see what I mean by there being no news. Well luckly G4TV's the Feed had reported some news over the hoildays. Jade Empire 2 is being devolped and the Wii was hacked. Yeah, lets wait till CES 08.

So its been too long. I got everything i said I would. For me, there's one week left until i go back 2 hell (aka school). Yeah the 360's awesome. However, I didn't get the 65-NM based Falcon console. Yes i was very upset to learn this, untill i learned about the 3 year free warrenty (YAY!! RROD risksolved!). Anyways i hope i never have to see "it". So i haven't connected to live because something is seriously wrong with xbox live. Not only are many ppl having problems, but new ppl can't sign up for a new live account. Doesn't matter to me, I was going to connect to live anyways. So i went over to my cousin's housewho had live and i happen to have a 2nd controller. So we just played halo 3 campaign and started plaing on live. That was days ago when live was working. So i came back from my cousin's house today. And here I am, thinking i should blog. Well anyways tommrow is 2008 and I can't wait for CES 08. But its happening when i go back to school so that sucks.So i should wrap this up. My 360 line up:

And another thing, I know this store whice sells the orginal Xbox wireless adapter for like $60 compared to the 360 $100 wireless adapter. It can work with the 360. This is what i need to connect to live. I planning for may 08.

This time only! And you know what thats means, its theHOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT!!!!!!!!!! SO OMG change of plans happened last night. I decided to go to school because I remebered about all the food, candys and chocolates. So now I'm in a hurry. I'm out to get my 360 in a couple of hours. With that, I'll get halo 3,2nd controller and play + charge kit. SO yeah news? Nothing important in the headlines. So yeah its the most awesome time of the year. No school, HWK or anything eles to worry about. I can't wait to game 24/7. And I 've also decied to open my 360 as soon as i get, well maybe it depends on some things. And if your wondering, I'm not connecting to live. No, I'm not crazy. I know what i'm missing out on. I've already experianced live and know whats it's all about. I don't care much. But thats just me. Onilne gaming gets repeitive. But Marktetplace is the only reason I will connect for a short time and download some demos. Trust me, I know what i'm missing out on. So anyways yeah its the hoildays. I need to get more hyped about whats happening!!!!

I again, apologize for not posting anything tech-related, not a lot is happening or at least anything major besides GOTY's. So today was like weird. I not sure what happened today but I will never remember this day ever again or even think of it. SO I had a lot of tests and probably failed a lot of them. I dont care b/c theres always the rest of semester 2. So I got some kind of wort on my thumb. Yeah its sounds disgusting. Igot itfrom playing too much guitar in music today. It hurt at first but now its kind of annyoing. So luckly, its on the side of my thumb so it won't interfere with my gaming or anything eles. Well another thing is I'm skipping school 2morrow. Don't worry I asked my parents and I explained how its the last day and nothing important will happen 2morrow. And then later in the afternoon 2morrow, I'll be off to get my 360 with halo 3, a 2nd controller and play and charge kit. So this is exciting. I think I'm gonna blog in the morning! So school and all its hell is over for 2 weeks and in that 2 weeks I'll be gaming like hell. So my plan is to invite my cousin over for a halo-havoc re-union b/c my cousin and i r the best@ halo and we've been dying to play the sequel, halo 3, for years now. But the problem is my cousin isn't coming till the 26th or 27th and I don't want to start without my cousin. So I've decied to go with the xmas tradition and wait till the 25th to acually open my 360. It'll definitly build up anticipation. Can't wait as always. Untill then See Ya! Before I start, I won't be bloggina alot about tech and games b/c its coming close to that time of the year and hey, even companies like to party. So anyways today i ripped right through hell. It was fast and quite painless. So first, I had English and had to hand in a project whice I didn't finish, well I did most of it but not the extra stuff. So next up in my hellish schdule was math, a math test. Who-hoo. I think I failed. But my homework marks will bring that up into that mid 70's or higher. So then after art and lunch was science. Ugh. If your read my last blog you'd know why I just went "Ugh". Well turns out it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to go. I came into the classroom, found one of my group members trying to fixa broken project (in whice they didn't let me touch and was hinting to the teacher how I did nothing) and my other group was in trouble, what a surprise. Well I did the paper work, it was pretty easy and didn't take long, and we presented our project. I think i phailed :P meh don't care much, I still have the rest of the semester. So then i had gym, I did nothing really. I never do :P. So after school i had to present another presentation.It went OK and was quick. So this was day that I thought I was never gonna get through. I'm pretty much home free. Like I said life doesnt always suck. But I don't get to officailly party and go crazy till Thursday afternoon. Still looking forward to my Xbox 360. Tomorrow, I have a French and History test. But like today, I do notcare. Thats the tag line for me this week: I do not care (about school B4 the last week untill the hoildays).

Well this week, your probably not gonna see me active here. I'm totally stressed out to the max. So Im gonna be quick as i have a lot of work to do (just thinking about it makes me upset). So anyways my day started out OK. We had a french presention and one of our goup members were not there. SO my group decided to meet after school on wednesday. The problem? I don't do after school. Luckly, our teacher said we could meet just before the bell rings onWed. So yeah then I had to catch up a lot on history/language, whice I had after french. That period was OK. And After that I had Health (really like a mid-day treat). And in the afternoon, after health was science. OK so we were doing a project in science due B4 the holidays, well 2morrow. My groups members really didn't let me do anything and later, like a bunch a jerks, blame me for doing nothing. I tried my best to help, but they just didn't let me andI had a feeling they were gonig to tell theteacher I did nothing, thus killing my mark. So it was a building sort of project and our teacher reminded us that we had to write the the specs of the building. Our groupset me up to do the whole thing. No seriously, my group built something that was so simple, too simple, that I could do it alone if they let me. So now I already have tons of HWK and now I have to do this aswell. Bull Sh!t. Ok so lastly i had math. Wasn't too bad except we had a math unit test. Thats not a problem though. So that was my retarted day. As you can see now I have a lot to worry about. Just about 4 projects due tommrow and 4 tests. Yeah, sucks for me. But the reality is there's just 2 days of hard work for me (and Friday is party day)and theni get my xbox 360 Friday. So try anwsering this: Do you think I care? Simple anwser that anyone could solve: No. But some of these things like that science project is forced, so it doesn't matter if I care or not. *sighs* Life sucks, but not always.

So yeah, its been a while. I've decided to buy my Xbox 360 on Friday. Its time to go nex-gen. The first game -no surprise- I'm going to buy is halo 3. Yeah thats Friday. Man 4 days left for me untill the hoildays, I can't wait. Yup, I'm excitied about the 360 because I haven't gotton a new console for a long time now. But there still the 4 day of hell A.K.A. school. Well really 3 days because friday I'm guessing, will be party day. 3 days doesn't seem like a lot but a lot of thing are gonna happen. I'm just hoping these days will fly by.
