And you know what that means. It's the weekend!!! But also somethings happening next are going to be exciting. M$ releases Zune 2. But also,im going to be busy next week. However not this weekend. I will be really interested in cnet's zune 2 review (they gave the first 1 an 8.0, very good rating coming from cnet) and also Paul Thorrot's review of Zune 2. This weekend is going to be very boring. And i have a lot to worry about b/c of school (:(, :cry:, :evil: is how i feel right now). And for now i don't know what to blog about. The simple anwser is no but sort of. Yes M$ was very dangerous like what a decade ago. What i mean by "dangerous" is threat. In the 90's M$ ruled it all. They took controll of the entire computer market as they became the new IBM. And still are.With all the money they have, they may very well always be. But what about today. The mean EU court has been killing M$ since 2001. Of course with all the complants about M$ taking over everything. I dont get it. They were smart and clever. So they won fair and sqare. Well not really. they sort of trapped everyone buy making all the companies sell Windows OS only on their pc's and making most software only compatible with Windows.How? Windows 95 was that good, back then. Well anyways today with M$ expanding into the digital market with products such as xbox and zune M$ has learned that they cant take over every market they enter. They have to work hardand forceful like they did with windows. Let me tell you a story. Back in 1998 everyone thought M$ was going to take over the evolving digital market by today. But guess what? Who has the digital market in their hands? A company that no one would expext in 1998. Thats right apple. Well i'm not saying that m$'s digital media products suck. no infact they are very excellent. but apple has the digital media market in their hands. While M$ (rightfully) still has the computer market. So M$ is not so dangerous now. At least in the digital media market. And they won't be going anywhere for a very very very long time. And in the computer market everyone doesn't really care if m$ owns that market. Microsoft has also matured a lot these past years. While other companies like ahem apple are still immature (the whole mocking the very old and dead blue screnn of death error in much older versions of windows. Do you see M$ resonponding to apple's childish ways and inccorect and non-truthful adverstising?). Seriously apple (and their fanboys and ppl who follow) will never let go of the past. Yup so where m$ stands is good. Are they rich enough to enter any market they like? Yes. Can they always easily take controll over it. No. But on a final side note, i belive apple controlling the digital maedia market was just luck. Sure they tried hard but it was luck that got apple at where they are today. I also think the horrible Eu court should let M$ go and let apple in. (after all apple has a monoploy in the digital media market . and just like M$ in the 90's with PC's, apple is gonna be in trouble for a long time.

Thats right. Now i promised i wouldn't do this and told you to just look at the bottom of the page, but this is specail because this is one of my very favorite games Fable The Lost Chapters. I love this game to death and will get the 2nd one for the 360. Untill then look at the bottom of my profile page to see my latest reviews.

Well sheep should be happy. The wii finally gets an awsome game after a year. the same time it took 360 (gears). The ps3 on the other hand.... oh man sony is in deep sh!t. Well anyways the next 2 very very anticipated games (i think teh last 2) this year are of course mass effect and crysis. ipredict MS may get a9.5 or even 10 (9.5 most likely) but crysis may get a 9.0 or 9.5 (im looking at more of a 9 b/c i feel the game is more flash than content although i may be wrong). And i doubt this "uncharted" cow game will get anywhere as MS and Crysis will be more important. BTW Mass Effect is on my "mush have" list :D.

Microsoft finally releases its pack of new windows live services adding a better online Experience for windows users. I've tested out some of these new services and all i can say is WOW! These new services help out with communication so much. E-mail, photo sharing and messaging are just some of the daily-average things we do, that the new Windows Live services improve majorly. M$ has hit home run with there orginal plan to improve there online service that almost 1 billion people use. I expect everyone will upgrade sooner or later. And i encourage you to use any of these MANY new services that will gurantee to help you out better, somehow. It is a free and easy to download service that is now out there as a online download @ http://get.live.com/.

I'm not saying this as afanboy but as a standout point at where this all stands. Incase you haven'y heard M$ has created their own mp3 player to compete with apple's (succuessful) ipod(s). Now there 1st try didn;t go the way M$ expected it to go. The first zune was not horrible but not better than the5th gen.ipod last year. Ok so M$ is back but this time they've brought along a competior for the nano. Know i dont know why but M$ calls the new zune "Zune 80" and the slimmer nano-like (but acually better) "Zune 4 and 8". The numbers mean it capcity in GB. the older zune "Zune 30" will still sell, i think. Anyways this new zune looks awsome. there are sleeker, slimmer and better lookingthan the new "fattie" ipods. And because M$ is a software company the Zune OS>>>>>>>>>>the ipod OS. also thenew zune has new and innovative features such as enhaced wireless file sharing (from the last gen zune but better of course) and a built-in fm tuner (most mp3s dont today and guess y b/c apple doesnt on the ipod so other companies have to copy apple b/c thats how they will win - yeah, rite). Well M$ is set to kill the classic and nano. People will not inderstand that M$ is targeting only ipod calassic and nano right now. M$ will not come out with a zune to kill the finger greesy ipod touch and to small to matter shuffle..... yet. Seriously I dont. I dont have anythingserious against the company. However I really don't even care about apple. Yeah i do keep track of their releases but i have no feelings for apple, at all. It's funny b/c i so hate sony and even nintendo (:O), and of course google. Well sony and google you know why. Yes because they are one of M$'s biggest competitors. But nintendo because of the wii. Yes the wii has destroyed gaming. If you've read my "about me" thing they you'll know i'm a hardcore gamer. And the wii is not hardcore at all. You see nintendo supports "casual gaming" (meaning people who play a video game but aren't really in to it the whole theme anyways). Yes ninty is bringing the video game world to ppl's attention. But does that mean you just forget about your hardcore gamers nintendo? And you see how the wii is winning in sales. Well guess what M$ and sony r gonna do nex-gen? Thats right follow nintendo's way of supporting casuals only. this may be the end of gaming as we know it. :(

Well I've decieded to make this very, very short. I belive I've told you that Microsoft hassold more than 85 million copies of vista. Wellthats acually 85 million vista users. But, still thats very good. How come not the number of copies? Well thats simply b/c ppl didnt go out to stores to but a Vista retail box... no instead they bought a new Vista-capable PC. 85 million. well that is better than the 25 million Apple OS user-base that took 7 years to build. While it took Vista about 6 months. Ok fine I'll stop bashing on Apple (althought like I've mentioned beforeI dont totally hate apple, surprizing huh? coming from a M$ fanboy who hates googleand sony beyond anything eles). So yeah, I guess Microsoft build up a bigger number of users sooner or later.

Well this whole week I've been focasing on Vista, mostly. Anyways, Software giant, M$ says Vista SP1 is on track to its 2008 Q1 release and is soon going to release a canidate realease (meaning a final testing version-while still safe in beta). Vista SP1 shall fix many of the major problems that were in Vista when it first lauched. Now i dont use Vista (yet, that is), but i do have neighbors that let me use their Vista computer to do stuff. So really while I use their PC I test out vista :P. All I can say is, it is an awsome OS but the problem is if you really want to use it you have to have a computer that meets the specs needed for vista. My nighbors bought a new PC that runs Vista Home Premium perfectly. And ultimately if you pay to upgrade your PC it will be worth using Vista properly. Well anyways don't listen to the apple fanboys (that are truly all over the web, having nothing eles to do) that say Vista sucks because it is honestly a very great OS and it way better than XP in my opinion. But alas, there are problems in Vista (just like in every software program). And thats why there are service packs to fix them. Once SP1 comes out people will have less to complain about in Vista and when more service packs come out eventually Vista will be perfect say like, hmm lets see Windows XPSP2 . And that brings up a good point because its not like xp was perfect when it came out. No Xp was treated like Vista is now. But look at Xp now. After a couple of SP's, andthe OS is perfectly fine. This is whats going to happen to Vista by SP2. Mark my words. I dont think i have enough room to talk about Vista sales so my very next blog i will talk about Vista sales.

Yup you heard it right.The Hdmi portis finally on every version of xbox 360 (arcade,pro and elite).Now in case you dont know what HDMI is, it is aone connection hook-up cable to yourHDTV and displays the highest HD resolution of 1080P. Why is it so great? Well itis not for everybody.Today's HDTVsdon't support componant cables (the cables that come with the pro) so thats why it is important but also because its just one cable instead of the 50000 cables that come with component.It's not important to some some ppl b/c they dont have hdtvs that suport 1080P but also b/c it only displays copy-right content in 1080P. That means if you were to play ahome videodvd it would downscale to the smaller and non-HD resoultion 420i/p. But only can component display 1080P for Xbox 360 games only (with a online update). With a Xbox 360 anything other than games andanything withinthe system software, The Dashboard,will be forced to be displayed in 420i/p (with component of course and xbox live market place HD downloads including movies, TV show and game demos' will play in 1080p viacomponent, HDMI or VGA). But there's more than just Component and HDMI thers VGA. A VGA adpater is to connect to a computer moniter but not only that it displays everything in 1080P. Thats right everything. The only problem is its only for you LCD Computer moniter.Well this is all realy difficult but you'll have to choose between these things. If you had no idea of whatI just said and know that you dont have a HDTV still go with the PRO prackage b/c it also comes with non-HD cables (composite) and the mostimportant thingof all the Hard Drive. If you want to use Xbox live marketplace alot and have a HDTV that supports HDMI and want to download alot of HD contentgo with the elite console becuase it comes with the hard drive and HDMI CABLES. But wait hold on. What about The new 65-NM Falcon chip that makes the 360 run cooler and quiter and stops it from over-heating and making the console fail. Well its been reported that it has been seen on xbox 360's and im guessing it will appear in the holiday consoles
