[QUOTE="ParadiseAwaits"][QUOTE="chaoscougar1"]Well thats it, jeff gerstmann is gone, fired, gamespot is no more. all because CNet payed so god damn much advertising for Kayne and Lynch and because Jeff had the balls to say that it was an awful game, he is no more. please feel free to leave your sentements, anger rants and don't take this injustice lying downlockjaw333
I'm glad he's gone.
He's a loser. That's why they fired him.
He gave Halo 3 a 9.5......even though it's complete garbage.
I would rather play Kane and Lynch all day long then play one minute of Halo 3.
Thank GOD Gamespot had the balls to fire this jerk. ;)
Your ignorance astounds me. You really fail to see the bigger point here. Have fun reading your management driven, money driven, biased company-speak reviews from now on.I agree. Jeff was the only point to even bother with GS reviews. Now that he is gone, many GS users will leave and Cnet will be rightfully screwed.
1. Macs are too expensive
2.They are compatible with little software programs
3. It can run Windows, so can my PC and better (plus you have to go out to stores and buy another copy of windows= BS)
4.ok HOW THE HECK CAN CRYSIS RUN ON MACS!?!?!? UMMM "GAMES FOR WINDOWS" SAYS NO. (you would have to run out and get your copy of windows to get it running on a mac and it does not even run as fast as a PC)
5. Apple clearly does not care about gaming at all. All they care about and support is music.
Macs will never get anywhere.
I previously owned an xbox 360 sold it and got a brand new one that was manufactured on September 8th 2007 and it a Premium console. According to this link http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2007/09/29/new-65nm-falcon-begins-to-soar/it confirmes the Falcon is out there. And according to the link, on the side of the retail box, near the bar code it should say either: lot #0734 or team FDOU. I checked and got it right. These new consoles run a lot quiter than the old ones althought the dvd drive is pretty much the same except quiter but still makes noise, its as loud as the xbox 1 dvd drive. I've noticed the console lets cold air in and since the new chip admits less heat it causes the console to be a lot cooler. At the back i feel a lot of heat coming out and i'm guess that good b/c if the heat stayed in the console it would over-heat. But i think most of the heat is coming from the 90nm-based GPU. Other than that the longest I've had the console on is 8 hours and it still ran as cool as when i turned it on. **Also** if it was manufractured on the date of augest 24th or later you have the falcon console. So far there have been no reports of RROD happening to these consoles, I hope there bullet-proof because everything seems to be right now.
