I've been a PC user for like 20 years, now I'm looking to get Macbook Pro. I'm just waiting for the next Apple event as the MBP is now about 5 months old and probably getting replaced soon.
I like Leopard, and as far as eyecandy goes, it's much less hardware intensive then Vista.
Bootcamp's really the killer feature though.
I'm planning to have Vista on a Bootcamp partition, and then some form of Linux and XP running through VMWare Fusion, so I'd have one piece of hardware that I can play with just about any desktop OS on.

OK, why would you use a Mac to run Windows??? Windows is all you need if you want to use programs that were made outside the company that built the os.
[QUOTE="Arbiter1237"][QUOTE="XFilthX"]I was under the impression that hooking an Elite up to a 1080p HDTV via HDMI would give you the best picture.
After I hooked it up, and adjusted the picture in the System menu, the optimal picture was 1080i.
I thought this would give me the best picture...
If this isn't the way, please tell me how to get the best picture on my Xbox 360!

either thing could fix your problem:
1. Your HDTV does not support 1080p image.
*2*. You need to update your system dashboard by connecting to xbox livez(all u need to do is put a internet wire in your 360 and it will automatically update) or burn a diskfrom a file onxbox.com and put it inyour 360 it will start to update. (the fall 2006 dashboard update added the 1080p option visit xbox.xom for more info)
well im guessing #2 was the issue here making sure you update your dashboard.
I did do all the updates. And I'd ASSUME that my TV supports 1080p.
It says 1080p right on it.
then the only possible problem is your TV does not support 1080p, if it clearly says 1080p but you cant acess it then i guess not
