Nintendo you're so good at PISSING OFF YOUR FANS! That and pushing things back.
For you that didn't catch the newest SSBB update, we got a new stage. And a little note that says...
"Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we've had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.

I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience."

So, that's pushing it back... let me count this... hm... it's being pushed back another MONTH. And what does Japan get? They get pushed back to the 31st of this month. I believe it's a 5 day push back for them (I'm not 100% sure about that, but I know it was going to come out this month for them). Now, what does that little note say? "Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl", but Japan is right on track and only getting a 5 day push back. And yet we get a month? Is this Nintendo just trying to be a pain in the butt? Because I find it hard to believe that Japan is going to get half a game while we get the full ver.
So Nintendo, is there really something going on here, or are you just fond of pissing off your fans? Not just Brawl, but other games as well.
But since we're on Brawl, who here remembers this? Who here watched it live? Who here was happy to get a final date for Brawl? Heh, here's to you Nintendo, always pissing off your fans... Makes me wonder why I used to be such a Nintendo fanboy back sometime ago...

As the title says... Vader and Yoda in Soulcalibur IV... I'm kind of shocked and in a "WTF?" mood out of this. O_o
I mean sure, I'm a fan of Star Wars and I guess I'm ok with them being in the game, and I know SC2 had Link on the GC ver and it's not all that out of place... But Star Wars? Link had a sword... Vader and Yoda have Lightsabers... It's strange...

I thought I'd spice up my profile just a little more. So now it has a new blog banner, my XBL card thingy under the banner. And it also has a link to "My Anime List" profile, as well as my profiles on IGN, and GameTrailers. I guess I get around. XD


And in other news, I've started on Tales of the Abyss... Or started on it again because I kind of dropped off the map on it XD. See, I put Final Fantasy XII on hold when I got TotA, and then not long after that I put TotA on hold for whatever reason. And now I'm trying to get back into the game... That is when I'm not playing CoD4... XD


And as for my New Year's Res... How about beating LoZ:TP, Pokemon Diamond, TotA, and maybe a few other games on my backlog? That works doesn't it? XD

And just wondering, does anyone else have probs editing the little bio part in "About Me" and the little note over like Collection, or Wish List, etc?

I'm pulling out all the stops on this one aren't I? XD

Some info from Jump Festa came out yesterday. It wasn't much info, but still it's some new stuff.

- Kirby feels more like his N64 counterpart
- The Pokemon Trainer shouts out the names of the Pokemon he uses
- Duster (Mother 3) and Rosalina are assist trophies
- Sandbag is an item

Sandbag an item? And Rosalina an AT? I can't wait to see them two, I mean both are kind of strange so it should be somethingto see.

And "Dragoon" on SSBB looks awesome, I can't wait to try that thing out. I just hope it isn't too hard to build it and fire (I'm going to miss, I know I am XD).

Oh and there isn't going to be anymore SSBB updates until Jan 7th. The translating team is taking a week long break.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is said to be coming out sometime Summer of 2008 for Japan. So if true then we should have our hands on it by the end of the year. So I'm happy about this, I want that game so bad.

~ Assassin's Creed
A few days ago my brother beat Assassin's Creed, and I got to see the ending. I didn't get to watch the game from start to finish but I know what was going on. And the ending of AC is... well strange. And I will say that it opens the door wide open for an Assassin's Creed 2 (heck, I'd be surprised if they weren't making an Assassin's Creed 2).

~ GRAW 2 Map Packs
Nothing much on this one... I just wish Ubisoft would get up and get the new map packs they said were coming out sometime in November. I know they're waiting until Halo 3 and CoD4 dies down, but that isn't going to happen anytime soon. If they would just get the new maps out people would take a break from CoD4 or Halo 3 and play some GRAW.

~ Burnout Paradise
If you're on XBL, and if you like racing games you need to download the Burnout Paradise demo on the 360. It's awesome, and it's online. You can race around, do little contest things, get online with your friends and so on. Sure what I do is sit around there jumping the same jumps and running my mouth online, but still it's fun. XD

~ Super Mario Galaxy
Incase none of you knew (or keeps up with this), the Wii game known as Super Mario Galaxy is still second on GameRankings. It's so close to Ocarina of Time on the rankings that GR had to change their points system. Used to it'd be like 97.5% (I think OoT was 97.5%), but SMG is so close that they had to change it to a 5 point system. OoT is now 97.613%, so that's how close SMG is to the top (if you're wondering, SMG is 97.441%). I'm shocked that it's still that high, I mean most games get up there and move down in no time. But it's been over a month and SMG hasn't moved (other then overtaking OoT before the system change).

~ Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII trailers

I don't agree with a lot of Jeff's reviews, many of us see the Twilight Princess reviews as a slap in the face to Wii owners, we all know that he was going to give Halo 3 a lovely high score, the review of Ocarina of Time for the VC was a joke, and many of us are glad he didn't get his hands on the review for Super Mario Galaxy.
But getting fired over giving a bad score on a game? Because Eidos got sick of getting bad reviews? Hello, make better games and you'll get better reviews. But looks like GS/CNet folded and gave Jeff the boot over his poor review of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. I guess the PC version will get a 10 so it'll make Eidos happy? What has the gaming community come to? I know everything has to deal with money, and we all want money. But what the heck is the point in having a gaming "review" site if the reviews are dictated by green backs? So I'm guessing if we all pitched in and paid GC/CNet enough money they'll overturn the review of LoZ:TP and give it a 9.5? Is that how it goes now days in the world of game reviews? Like I said, I didn't agree with a lot of Jeff's reviews, and I'd likely give a big "Oh crap" when I found out he was reviewing yet another Wii game. But it is flat out stupid to let money dictate what kind of score a game gets. Since EA have the deepest pockets every single Madden game from now on is going to get a perfect 10, doesn't matter how crappy the game is, just because money can go into reviews that's all that matters. Wow, this is almost as bad as stupid government senators sticking their big nose in gaming and crying for ESRB to have different settings for Wii games, or running their mouth about how games is what drives kids to kill.
Eidos pretty much got Jeff fired because of the bad review he gave, but will it make up for the sales? I mean...

75.34% of the Player "Reviews" are a 1/10. How many of them people might have picked the game up one day? How many of them people might have asked for it for Christmas? How many of them people might have rented it? But Eidos screwed themselves over and got Jeff fired. And GS/CNet is no better off. I've got people on my friend list moving off to other places like GameTrailers. And after this how many people is really going to believe reviews that comes from GS? People will always think "Is this a truthful review or is it another one of them "paid off" reviews?". Because Jeff was fired because he didn't give a good enough score. So yea, way to go Eidos, people will always love you for that. So yea, way to go GameSpot, people will always believe your reviews now.

I know this is a few days old, and I didn't think about it at the time, but I just had to post about this.

A few days ago there was an event about No More Heroes (it's a game coming to the Wii for you that don't know). Well at this event they gave out something to 20 guests there. That something was a roll of toilet paper, No More Heroes printed toilet paper. And here is what it looks like (don't worry, no bad images XD). Sure, being only 20 rolls out there I'm sure they aren't going to wipe their... you know. But still, them Japanese can sure think up some strange things to give away at events...
Here's to you people of Japan, making good games and making us go "WTF?" everytime you do something strange. XD

Today I really cleaned out my bank account. Lets see, first off I got 4 new games... count them, 4 games. One of them was the free XBL Arcade game "Carcassonne" (I think it's going to be free for 48 hours, started 12:01 am on the 15th). It's ok, I mean it's free, and I get a few gamer points from it so why not. The other 3 was Assassin's Creed Limited Edition for my brother (his birthday a few days ago), Super Mario Galaxy, and Rayman Raving Rabbids 2. That put a nice $165 dint in my back account (I'm apart of the Circuit City Gamers Saving Club so I saved some on Rayman and Assassin's Creed. And I got a $25 gift card from ToysRUs for buying Super Mario Galaxy so that'll come in handy). Add that to Call of Duty 4... in just a short time so much money out the window... and then there's the Zapper and Link's Crossbow training coming out soon. I'm never going to get the money to buy the HDTV I want XD. But oh well, at least these games should keep me busy for sometime (in fact I know they will).

Anyway a few days ago I got Super Mario Bros 3 for the VC, it's a game I've been wanting for ages (it's my fav Mario game). It's as good as I remember it (I never had an NES, but my sister did and my cousin did, and they both had Super Mario Bros 3).
Also last Tue I picked up Call of Duty 4 (I think that was the launch day) for the 360. I had a great time playing it online, in the first night I jumped 15 ranks (15 of their ranks), that was like 3 hours of playing. Didn't have much time to play after the first day (I'm out of state right now, so I had to get ready), but last night (I guess 4 or 5 hours playing online) I made 2nd Lieutantant (rank 25 on their rank system). Now that was good, I mean me an officer on there (sure, with enough playing almost anyone can get it, but still XD), I'm able to stand out now in a room. XD

It's hard to say if I like GRAW 2 or CoD4 better when it comes to online.
For GRAW you have more of a team base thing. Everyone is trying their best to help out each other to win the game. You got people over the mic saying "They're over by the house" and all of that stuff. You work as a team and I really really like that in a game (lots of Co-Op stuff). And I do like their ranks better (they're more real, and if you make some rank on GRAW it shows you're good. Where on CoD4 you just play the game enough and in time you'll make General. I'm not saying a General on CoD4 is bad... I ran into a group of them and got beat so bad... but I'm just saying it's harder to make rank on GRAW). And I am a killer sniper on GRAW (so that counts for something XD. But on CoD4 I suck at being a sniper. On GRAW it's my main class but on CoD4 I can't do anything as a sniper).
But on CoD4 I love the fast action of everything just going on. I mean one of the things I love is the game mode "Domination". And then mix that in with a small level and everyone is running back and forth killing and getting killed trying to keep the zone. It's so hectic and so fun. And like I was saying about ranks, I can jump them and make something high very fast (I've always wanted to be a General XD). And I know this isn't much to some... but CoD4 has a shotgun. I know what you're thinking, but I love the shotgun (always have, always will). And for close battles that is the weapon I go with (my main is the M16 and Carbine, but like I said, if it's close it's a shotgun). And that's just so much fun.

I like both really really well. I guess I'll just have to go with even on both and say GRAW for my more slower team base stuff, and CoD4 for my faster run out there and kill stuff. XD
If any of you got CoD4 and/or GRAW2 then give me a ring. I'll send my GamerTag and we can see how quickly I lose on the game(s). XD

One thing I liked about CoD4, the store I got it from (Circuit City) had a glitch in the system, and I ended up getting CoD4 for only $30. That's right I had $30 taken off, and on top of that I got a free copy of CoD3 (that I already had) that I'm going to sell. that was good for me. XD

Also to note, level 27 for me. I can't wait till I hit level 30. I mean 30... that's like up there on level. I know I don't post much, but still, to me that's high.
