I can't get over it, 3 of Nintendo's best franchises (in order of least awesome to most), are all the top rated games. It makes me happy to be a Nintendo fan. :)
I didn't cry, but yes, very emotional and epic. Best gaming experience I've had in awhile. :) I will replay it forever. The soundtrack also made the game for me.
In terms of minigame fun to be had, you can't go wrong with Wario Ware, Super Monkey Ball (single player puzzles too), and Mario Party 8. In terms of truly EPIC games you must buy Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 (hell, you need to get 1 and 2 also, some of the msot amazing games I've ever played), and most importantly, Super Mario Galaxy. That game has changed my outlook on games, very very amazing. :) Then, of course, SSBB comes out in a few months, so you have that to look forward to. If you can find a Wii, by all means get one!
I watched the entire thing live, the day before I got my copy. I was skeptical to watch but I watched it anyway. Even though I knew what I was going to be doing in the early levels, they are SO much fun that you won't really even notice. That, and the fact that the rest of the game is so amazing, you won't really care. ;)
