I'm glad you posted this thread because even though both games are FPS they have two very distinct styles of gameplay.
COD4: Allowed me to feel the rush of battle upon a heated and epic scale allowing me to find within myself the courage needed to complete the objectives and the combat was superb. with a great variety of weapons.
Bio-shock: Suffocated me as I ran from water crushing the structure around me. I had to make a choice, who would I save? Who had to be sacrificed so that I may escape a madman's utopia gone wrong? And being able to exchange abilities and weapons (almost)on the fly with environmental kills is fantastic.
So COD4 did a good job of recreating a battle with visceral combat and adaptability
But, Bio-shock transported me to a gamble for my life and my very soul. with great combat and adaptability
