"Every week, one of our team goes through the trouble of downloading a 50GB patch to boot into the PC version of the game to raise one graphical setting up a notch. In a few weeks, we'll have most of the settings turned up a little bit and we can throw that version on the next-gen consoles. It's a lot of work but we'll get there"
@Axecution: ps I hope that didn't come off as rude.
It's legitimately an issue when you have people reviewing genres they don't understand. So many people will see this review and not buy the game because of it when the game is actually good - the reviewer just wasn't good *at* it.
It would be like me reviewing a Souls game. I know I don't like them, I know I'm not good at them, and I know I would give any Souls game a 3/10 and complain about getting mad about it but the good thing is that I would never do that because that would hurt the devs of a good game
Just watched John from Digital Foundry praise this game for 20 minutes. Came here and was shocked to see 4/10. Looked at some other sites too and all the reviews are pretty decent except here
This review was hilariously bad. 4/10 for a 2D platformer being too difficult? Gamespot please don't let this dude review 2D platformers anymore lol
@justthetip: You're probably right but also - who knows man, we havent seen a single thing from the movie other than some pics. Could be the greatest movie of all time. ...probably not but still - why be negative already?
I'm sure it'll at the very least be fun to watch and give us some good new Uncharted backstory. As long as they get the story right and dont ruin any plotpoints from the games or start re-using game quotes i'll be happy.
@Wraith3: Maybe im being a bit negative but i have a really funny feeling its just gonna be the PC versions maxed out but running on consoles in a package with all 3 games - so 4k, better textures, pushed out draw distance, 60fps. And then maybe some minor "saints row remastered" tier updates like better lighting.
I hope im wrong lol but actually remastering all these games would be a ton of work. Maybe they'll shock us and throw in ray traced lighting and reflections <3
The only negative is that there's no VR support, but the system requirements say you need a 970 or higher for VR. Are you guys sure it doesnt support VR?
Gamepass page also says it does supports VR so idk man
