@mogan: Don't forget that Sony at its heart is still very much a Japanese company. Some of their naming conventions have been hilarious in the grand scheme of things to westerners.
I still remember being baffled by Street Fighter Ex Plus Alpha.
@dragoonmike: BG3 had as many LGBTQ options as you could want and it didn't detract from the game being brilliant. Problem is when you make a subpar game and you heavily feature this content, a lot of people will try and highlight it as "They spent more time pushing this agenda than they did trying to make a good game" as if that's the reason why the game wasn't good.
It's not. The game would still be bad if it didn't have that content.
When was the last time EA actually innovated a good game? They buy studios, collect IPs and then make mediocre games. Usually propped up by their yearly sports games where they don't even try and innovate in that either... they just push their pay 2 win cards.
@neometal89: Yeah, but the guy has a point. There would be outrage if PS tried to take up one of the "free" game slots with a PS1/PS2 title
I was just hoping that with the success of MS gamepass, Sony would make a bigger effort with their games but I can't remember the last time I redeemed a PS+ game that I actually played.
Tell me you're out of touch with your players. People don't want all this extra junk with their games. They don't want additional launchers or popups / splash screens.
FC 25, dropped that costly license you had to pay every year to FIFA to use their name, so thought you'd just make a butt load more cash on releasing the same game over and over?
Glad to see it fall short. I miss the days when PES was the front-runner.
