Ask EA why there is no demo. My guess is that PC demos are way too big and require too much resources compared to console demos. When you pump in all the assets (compared to the fixed console ones) and when you need to make sure that build runs on all PCs, it's a huge pain in the ass for everyone. I can't remember the last high-profile demo that was less than 1.5 Gb. COD4's demo shipped with I don't think many people jump in on these huge demos. And then we saw a lot of games being cracked day one using the demo files.

As for Epic, their actions tell more than their words and their actions were hugely beneficial for the PC.

Then please explain to me why other games such as Left 4 Dead or even Bad Company 2, which was published by EA had demos. Maybe it was because they actually cared about the PC crowd and are willing to go the extra mile (even if it is a pain in the ass, as you have described) to release a demo. I am not trying to say either game are amazing just because they had demos, but even releasing a crappy, unoptimised demo is better than nothing.

Actually, I think it's much more logical for them to release a demo for the PC so that they can show to the PC crowd that they still care.

x2. He's just making light of us, by speaking in generalities :P

Well it ain't really humorous, and he knew what he had coming to him from the PC gamers when he wrote that

i know for a fact that most of you in this thread saying you dont like the game/ wont buy it, indeed WILL buy the game and are just putting on a face. just like all the people that said they werent going to buy MW2 and did.... who are you guys trying to kid really?

Roland123_basic

Wow, people can't have opinions now? Judging from the information on the game, I PERSONALLY think it's not gonna get a 9.5. That's not to say I won't change my mind when the game comes out. Insulting people like Generalshowzer isn't gonna help with your argument

Hmm I care to disagree with all of you. I played Crysis and Warhead, and didn't really enjoy either. Maybe it was because my rig couldn't handle the game that well at the time, but I really have no incentive to play it again. The mulitplayer left a sour taste in my mouth, and the singleplayer got really boring during the alien sequence. I also don't get why you say people hate on this game? I personally find it overhyped for its graphics, I mean I know it looks REALLY good, but there are several games I can think of that have better atmoshpere and art style (such as Metro 2033 and Amnesia).

BTW the gameplay is decent, as it varies from time to time. However I much rather replay Half Life 2 campaign :)

All I want is Elder Srolls V Skyrim. The other gamers all look great, and I have a feeling they're not gonna disappoint, but this is the only game I really care about.

What's so great about this game? I mean I don't really like L4D either, but this just feels like a mod that should've stayed a mod. I played it during the free weekend a year back and everything about the game feels clunky. I mean even the menus don't look like they have much polish to it. The ironsights on the guns are horrible, and people walk pretty slowly. The only thing I enjoyed about it was the bullet time mode, but that kind of got annoying because it happens even when you are not fighting zombies.

Would you guys say it's worth it for $15? And what would you give it out of 10? (assuming they fix the problems soon)

I'm sorry, the difficulty sounds great and all, but they might charge money for DLC so you can resurrect? Sounds like a greedy money move to me

SkyWard20

This is the dumbest thing I have heard all day.

Please, at least give me a valid response. Look, I worded it the wrong way, but the idea of charging someone for a resurrection scroll to access a save in Ironman Mode just sounds absurd. Either you put the item in the game in the first place or don't give the people the option of getting the scroll, because that's the point of the mode. I know that if it indeed does cost money, you don't have to buy it, but this just seems weird to me

Also, I realized the DLC might be free, so sorry on that part
