Just get this board - Asus M4N68T - $54.99

And the AMD Phenom II X2 545 (3.0GHz) $87OR the AMD Phenom II X4 620 (2.6GHz)$99.

I'm pretty sure your DDR2 RAM will work in that board. Anyone know if thats true or not?

I dont know that its amazing, or if you can fit A2+ in an A2 slot, but this one seems good quality, though I dont know much about processors and desktops myself ._.

heres where I found it of course

Oh I didnt know they made PhenomIIs for AM2+. Thats cool. But if your board cant take AM2+ then it still wont help. And you said if its true you are done upgrading your PC? Everytime I upgrade my CPU I have to get a new mobo and usually new RAM too. Unless you upgrade your CPU every 6 months thats going to happen.

You are pretty much screwed because all the CPUs you can use in that board are out of date and will not be good vaule for money. Your best bet is to buy a new board.

You must have the wrong drivers because the triggers should(and do when properly configured)work fine. And IMO the 360 controller is the best controller in existence. For any game or platform.

A lot of stock coolers (like AMD's) come with a thin layer of thermal paste already on the underside of the heatsink. But if that is not the case with the one you get, dont do it at all!

NewEgg is so awesome. That drive I bought had a "no return" policy on it but I called and explained what a piece of crap it is and they are going to give me a full refund with no restocking fee!

Thank you NewEgg!

And I learned the hard way... DONT BY AN SSD WITH a Jmicron controller!!!!! They are beyond crap!!

I have that same board and did have that same CPU. I think a lot of people bought that combo because thats was one of the cheapest boards that could unlock the extra cores on that Phenom X2. LOL My CPU was not stable unlocked though so I got a true X4. I still use that board, its a good board its only draw back is just 1 PCI-e slot.
