Some of you younger guys will get what the older guys are talking about when you get into your twenties. Until then you won't understand, because I thought I was mature for my age when I was 14, but now being 22 I wish I could go back in time and kick my own ass, and I'm sure that when I'm 30 I will think the same about myself today.

I believe most of the older guys in this forum will think the same.

A optical connection is the only way that the 360 can pass DD. Using the red and white (the yellow cable is video some I'm sure you had a typo) is a stereo connection, so the best your receiver could do with it is Pro-Logic/ PLx-II

Some pictures would be helpful. Is the plug on the back of the receiver coaxial? (like the red white and yellow on most televisions).george_hopkins

Those are called RCA or phono ends, coaxial is like cable TV.

A digital coaxial input for audio is a coaxial cable with an RCA end used for PCM or DD/DTS

You need to go to radioshack. The end that plugs into the receiver needs a male phono, and take the speaker to radioshack so they can match the other end.

Go to a local used game store. They usually have a machine that fixes discs for about $3 a piece, and work a lot better than those worthless skip doctors

I can't believe that there are states that outlaw fireworks, very few times like this makes me glad that I live in Arkansas.

I have not bought any fireworks since my friends and I made a sparkler bomb 4 years ago. I still remember there was 5,739 sparklers. It was awesome!!!!!!

I have honestly had two consoles get the 3 red lights, my brother once, and my best friend once. My brother's roomate has a launch console that is fine. Some break and some don't. I recommend getting the warranty, because you are covered for an additional two years. I personally am covered until 4/2009, but if you do have a problem, they arehelpful with my repairs and I'm without my 360 for 10-14 days (not months)

Make the plunge, you won't regret it.

The Springfield Cardinals are about 45 minutes from my house. The are AA (I think) for the St. Louis Cardinals.
