Because PS3 is the cheapest (well, 2nd cheapest now...), most advanced and best Blu-Ray player available today. It will be cheapest again if the PS3 100 dollar price drop happens next week.

The funny thing is that it is the most advanced Blu-ray player, and still can't do all of the interactive features that HD DVD can, and their standalone players start at $299:lol:
