This is why Wii and PS3 fanboy's scoff at the very idea of Japan being a secondary force in the market when it already is - if the affiliation to the corporate entity is bad enough, the obsession over what country they come from is just ridiculous.

To be honest I don't really LIKE the industry shift from Japan to the US. I would prefer it if more Western games came out of Europe, but this is just my preference.

I agree with you on Japan's importance to the industry though, for the past 5 years the shift has been extremely dramatic, and it's likely to increase, as you say.

I'm as hardcore as a Banjo fan can get. That was a good mini-interview. This and GTA IV will make 2008 the best year for gaming since 1998. I think the only people whining are the sheep who are jealous that they won't be able to play this game with waggle controls. :cry:.V_Isle

MS PR and management have just shown once again how badley they out class Sony.

MS had this on the back burner all along i bet.

They will bring the 360 down to an affordable cost like the Wii. Then launch a crazy new motion controller. Thats even better then both the Wii mote and the PS3 motion controller.

Why all this is setting them up for the FUTURE of implantation with say 720. And at the sametime offering a HARDCORE system with agreat price point at this point of the new controllers release. And combined all this with the BEST software backing in the industry.

So now kiddies explain to me how this will be a bad IDEA? I do not think you can at all because the biggest gripe with the Wii is the GRAPHICS. Well now we will have a 360 at a Wii price point. And much better graphics and seemingly better software support. And a new motion controller. That looks to take it even further then the Wii Mote.

When did it come the main console for multiplats?

The problem with that is that due to the longer times devs supposedly spend on the PS3 that the other console, whether it be the 360 or Wii (highly doubtful) is delayed significantly for no reason.

Kind of like GTA4, the 360 version was rumoured to be complete months ago.
