Sonic is great, I still love playing Sonic 2, 3 and Sonic & Knuckles - three of the finest platformers ever made.

I hope to God SEGA redeem him in the near future, first thing is to get rid of the physics - killed the last game IMO.

Did Sega of America have anything to with the recent Sonic the Hedgehog ?

Nintendo_Ownes7

When you say Recent do you mean Sonic 360 or do you mean Secret Rings (because Secret Rings is the most recent and it is a great game IMO) Sonic only had two bad Console games and it was Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic (360 & PS3)

The 360/PS3 game, 'Sonic the Hedgehog'... stupid title, I know :P

I'm sure I read somewhere that Sega of America had something to do with the development...

It was such an embarrassing game, everything about it was awful - the tired levels, the controls were absolutely hideous, the distinc lack of speed (and when there was speed it was atrocious to control, and I use the word control very loosely), the camera, the Dreamcast-looking jungle area, the AWFUL implementation of the Havok physics engine, Soleanna....

The game was a complete abomination. I hope the next "proper" Sonic game is a return to form.

I can't believe the crap Cows are perpetuating in this thread.

You know Cows, no matter how much you rub that copper lamp no Genie is going to come out...

If Blue Dragon had a good story/characters it would have been an all-time classic. I still cant believe most people think Eternal Sonata is better than Blue Dragon lol, Eternal Sonata is such trash.

TerroRizing

I own both, I think Eternal Sonata is better than Blue Dragon.

Blue Dragon reminded me of alot of things i didn't like about the old 8-bit/16-bit RPG's - level grinding and dungeon trawling. I still love it, but the game had alot of things it could've improved upon. The story was a bit 'meh' as well.

Brain Training, Cooking Mama, Mario & Sonic...

Vanadium2k8

Wii = 15
X360 = 7

That's hardly the point, the point was the quality of the software, or lack thereof...

I guess using a guitar controller is super hardcore awesomeness and a wiimote or balance board is just a kiddy gimmickGunSmith1_basic

Completely different games, one is a rythym-based game in the same vein as the awesome PaRappa the Rapper and Space Channel 5, the other is a ridiculous gimmick that is based on balancing on a piece of plastic with empty promises of getting 'Fit'.

Walking to the bus stop is probably more effective for weight loss than WiiFit will ever be.

When PC games cost 25-37 euros and console games cost 60-70 euros...its just the USA that has cheap console games and overpriced PC games...

BTW hows the 360 doin in Japan?

Meu2k7

The actual hardware outside the US is incredibly expensive and runs into the thousands.

Read the post above you plz

700 Pounds is almost $2000 AUD and $1500 USD....

In direct currency conversion yes, but not at retail prices, the same PC would cost about $1000 from £700.

Your Average dual core PC with 2 GB RAM is about $1700 here. That's rather expensive.
